I'm still in the early portion of the book (just after the 1860 Presidential Election) but this is as good as Devil in the White City and In the Garden of Beasts. The time between the election and the shelling of Fort Sumpter. From the forward. My two takeaways this morning. 1) Much like Nixon and Watergate, it was the coverup that sunk Trump. 2) If he would have kept it in his pants (several times), he wouldn't be facing these issues. Nothing about the deep state plays into this...

His fixer, Michael Cohen received 3 years under Trump's Justice Dept for virtually the same crime. Throw in multiple counts of contempt. He needs to go home to Father Vlad
