  1. Drill Baby, Drill. It will solve all of our financial woes
  2. I wish the judge would have done that to a certain old man who allegedly fell asleep in court many times in NYC
  3. If it's Thursday, it must be, hold on, I've got to check my schedule
  4. More like an HOA meeting
  5. Off the top of my head the reach of TV into Michigan from Toledo would venture into Monroe and Lenawee Counties, maybe Hillsdale. Not sure how many Michigan eyeballs that might entail. If I was selling ads I'd definitely look into businesses in those area.
  6. Fatty would eat all the inventory.
  7. Not hiding it any more
  8. The dentures seem looth tonight
  9. It couldn't happen to a better group of people <sarcasm>
  10. Audacy also owns WINS AM & FM, an all newser as well. (Think of the old WMAQ, give us 20 minutes). I just looked at the ratings and they're holding up well in NY. Not sure how WBBM and WWJ are doing, but as long as there is significant revenue they may survive to fight a bit longer. However when your stock is hovering around a dime a share. Full transparency, my wife managed the WBBM newsroom from the mid '90s until late 2000. She also managed WWJ's newsroom from Dec 2000 to about 2010. I did traffic for WBBM for several years while we were in Chicago.
  11. I listen to the local NPR/Public Radio stations occasionally. I'm a fossil though.
  12. 60 years is a long run for a format. AM Radio has gone the way of the telegraph wire. Still a sad thing, especially for those of us who were even remotely connected with that side of the business. RIP straight News and traffic and weather on the eights (or the ones)
  13. How much of the rising cost of groceries can be attributed to the consolidation of supermarkets. The little guy who ran the local grocery store who may have been connected to a group of independent grocers is long gone. The Krogers, Food Lions, Walmarts, etc have taken over. The big guys are mostly setting the price, not the administration Have you ever seen a Republican oppose a major company merger recently?
  14. Even the campaign is admitting the ship is sinking
  15. Same city depending on which side of State St you’re located
  16. Fair enough. It’s probably my CW bias showing. I realize they’re two very different missions. I like the Ford Museum, Greenfield has always felt a bit too sterile to me.
  17. To Trump all Brown's look alike
