  1. The theory that judges/justices are impartial (that we were taught in elementary social studies) has been proven wrong several times. That coupled with the fact that too many judges have held on long past their healthy expiration date. I would love to hold all federal court judges to say a 15 year term, let them retire with pensions and even give them emeritus status on the court. 30 plus years on the court is way too long.
  2. MAGAs say she was.
  3. George Washington hated political parties and warned us against them. Blames the rise of parties on Jefferson and Hamilton, two of his Cabinet members Right now I'm hoping to get thru 2024 in one piece, and if we're still around in 2028 I'm backing Maryland Governor Wes Moore. Grew up in the projects, was a Captain in the Army's 82nd airborne division in Afghanistan, graduated from John Hopkins and Oxford. An accomplished Author. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wes_Moore
  4. Isn't O'Rourke well past his use by date
  5. He's doing exactly what his handlers and overlords tell him. Both domestic and foreign
  6. I wonder how conservative sites compare with other news sites. Basically a lot of the "news" startups in the last several years have seen severe cutbacks or gone out business completely.
  7. So basically among "conservatives" it's see no evil, hear no evil....
  8. They've gone beyond saying the quiet part out loud to shouting it from the rooftops
  9. I think Grouch understood the problem perfectly
  10. So, if the Alabama Supreme Court considers embryos "children", shouldn't parents receive state tax deductions for every frozen egg?
  11. Hopefully this link will be live for a while. The governors of Maryland and Utah discussing how to disagree better. It's part of this years National Governors Association series of civility. This discussion is at the group's annual meeting, PBS's Judy Woodwruff is the moderator..
  12. They are comparing the House investigation of Private Citizen Biden to a Police Academy storyline... https://apple.news/AmCSXRvUXQaWyxmC2n0yOvQ
  13. Seems like a smart move at first glance. Go ahead and vote uncommitted in the primary, but consider your real choices in November.
  14. It was rigged....
  15. Today's Republican Party (everything old is new again)(or stuck in the 1930s) (
  16. Those sneakers really clash with the MAGA hats. No self respecting MAGA would be caught dead or alive wearing that combination of gold and scarlet. It definitely clashes with the orange bronzer. But there are no self respecting MAGAs
  17. "How was I to know she was with the Russians too? Send Lawyers, Guns and Money.....the **** has hit the fan"
  18. This is close to my thinking. Check with your local small engine, lawn and tractor type dealer and see if it can be repaired. It's probably less expensive than a new one.
  19. Still want to know what he told Justice Kennedy to make him retire. What dirt did Trump have on Kennedy's son who just happened to be Trump's real estate banker.
  20. Now can we talk about Jared Kushner's deal with the murderer Saudi Prince where he got $2 Billion to fund his "private equity" firm?
  21. Playing the old I like Biden game to get rubes to vote for Trump... Vlad's slipping Driving the news: The Russian president was asked who was "better for us" between Biden and Trump during an interview broadcast Wednesday on Rossiya 1 TV. "[Biden] is a more experienced, predictable person. He is a politician of the old school," Putin said. "But we will work with any leader of the United States, who is trusted by the American people." Representatives for Biden and Trump did not immediately respond to Axios' request for comment.
