  1. She is a former TV news anchor. So a bit of creative makeup for the camera along with a soft focus filter. Just a couple tricks of the trade.
  2. romad1, This is kinda big...
  3. Interesting thread on populist movement candidates. They are usually not as successful the second time around.... Read the whole thread..
  4. More 40 man moves
  5. This law makes perfect sense.
  6. More Republicans in disarray..
  7. Republicans in disarray This sounds strange coming from one of the biggest disrupters in the Senate and one of the leaders in the Jan 6 stuff
  8. What happened to Stop The Steal
  9. For some reason the link didn't work.... https://cityofdearborn.org/documents/city-departments/city-clerk/elections/election-results/november-8-2022-general-election-unofficial-results/7198-city-of-dearborn-general-election-unofficial-results-as-of-11-30-p-m/file
  10. I really don't care what Booker eats as long as it's not puppies. I just wish the guy I see on TV lately was the guy who showed up in the primaries. He just had no energy going for him then.
  11. Chris Christie was a bit better. Actually point out that the party needs to decide whether they are the Party of Trump or the party that actually wants to work to elect candidates. The whole thing just reinforced why radio is dying and why that stock that was once trading at nearly $70 20 plus years ago is now available for just a few pennies.
  12. I was running a couple of errands this morning and out of curiosity tuned into AM talk radio. Bryan Kilmeade was basically doing the usual post election autopsy. He had Allen West on who basically complained about states like Texas, Florida and Georgia whose whose strategies to attract businesses to their states have also brought too many "liberals" to cities like Dallas, Houston, and Austin. This coming from the party that in the 80s, 90s and early 2000 promoted the fact that they were low tax, business friendly states. Now he and his ilk want to criticize them because they attract the wrong type of people. He blamed Georgia's growth on making deals with Hollywood to bring the movie industry to the state making it hard for wonderful people like Hershel Walker to waltz to election victory. What a country!
  13. I'm tired of "sexy". Charismatic candidates that are good administrators only come around once a generation or so. Give me a younger Sherrod Brown or a Michael Bennet. I'd settle for a Tim Kaine who was a decent governor and a good campaigner, unfortunately he has the personality of paint drying. I still love his father in law however. Let me add Amy Klobuchar to the list. She may be boring as hell and tough on her staff but I guarantee they won't have to clean catsup off the White House walls.
  14. From the guy who is basically advising them into Orbanism.... Nobody in the "party of responsibility" will take any responsibility.....they only point fingers and shift the blame.
  15. One would assume they're theoretically competing for the 80 or so voters who voted for the "Libertarian" candidate. Another reason why ranked voting should be tried....
  16. I don't disagree, but what effect would an indictment before 12/6 have on the GA Senate runoff? Or Trump's supposed announcement next week? Might be a bit better to hold off a bit.
  17. Another big wave in FLA today....
  18. I'm not sure I'd call Whitmer's win an upset. The GOP did not field a great candidate thanks to their ballot petition problems
  19. MSNBC reporting officially a runoff in GA, 12/6
