I really enjoy going to Chicago. Now that my daughter goes to school there she is familiar with public transit. Getting a 1-2 day transit pass is cheap. A couple of weeks ago the weather was nice, we jumped on the L at Harlem went to Navy Pier then hopped a bus to millennium Park ate, then took train back to River Forest. You see some crazies on the L but whatever. Similar experience going to Wrigley last fall. Parking is stupid expensive so avoiding that makes my dollar go a little further.

A wreck with a semi contains one 53' container of toxic something. You might have 40 of those on one single derailment. I would think the that single would be much easier to contain.

I believe every effort to contain and stop COVID were on point. It is/was serious and not a joke in any way. What scares the crap out of me is the next "leak" may be tweaked to be vaccine resistant or stronger etc... That is not coming from conspiracy angle but more of germ warfare fear prospective.

My wife/girlfriend would work the front counter and one of her jobs at the end of the day was to shred up the unsold rotisserie chicken to make shredded bbq chicken for the next day. Always thought that was gross and never would eat it.

I worked at KFC in the 90's (met my wife there). You ever clean the fryer grease with that vacuum cleaner machine? That stuff was gross. Also their gravy required a few scoops full of fryer grease in the recipe.

I have had Directv since around 2001, only way I can get Tigers in Indiana. Recently switched to Directv stream and its great. I get Bally in basic package. There units are all wireless, sent one with my daughter at school in Chicago. $120 a month... It sucked that Sunday tix was not offered but now available through app next year is nice.
