If there ever were a canary in a coal mine this might be it. Those mortgages that everyone was climbing over each other to pay 20-40% over market value are going underwater. Plus new construction valve is about to basically shutoff.

I would say that 85-90% of folks in HERE are college educated living well above the poverty line but is that the majority of the voting Americans? I was only commenting on the question asked. Other than patting each other on the back there is very little debate in this forum which is fine, you just won't get much perspective.

Depends on who you ask. Folks working from home in their nice little enclave, still counting all that extra stimmy money and can't figure out how to spend it all will stay on point with Dobbs. The rest of America worry where they will offset the higher costs.

Yes they are. You have to figure moving 50, 53' containers using 2-3 man team on a train. Compared to 50 CDL truck drivers plus fuel. You have the drayage driver taking it from the yard to final destination but you cut 2k-3K OTR miles off.

I see the advantage with that. Good luck getting everyone in traffic to buy into the zipper merge. Sounds like the perfect fuel for road rage situations.

I am talking about the folks that come flying down the lane getting ready to end. Everyone else has been waiting patiently while the traffic moves slowly. Then the guy who you can see coming from 1/4 mile back flys passed everyone and THEN turns on his blinker 4-5 cars back from the end of the merge. Those guys can pound sand.

I am maintaining my lane, no worries for me. The best is when the semi hops out and stops the saps from flying by, they get it.

Nothing gives me more pleasure than NOT allowing that driver who had plenty of time to get over but tries to merge at the last second. Those guys cause bottlenecks and accidents. It's like why would I merge with everyone else? You know my time is more important than yours.

It still amazes me how many Repubs are still using Trump as a selling point to vote for them.

One thing you can do to decrease cooking time and prevent drying out I have found. Prep the shells the night before, leaving them in the fridge helps to loosen up the noodle shell. I was able to cook them prefectly with only an hour at 300F. Also make sure the bacon covers the noodle well if not they get pretty chewy on those exposed areas. Good luck and enjoy, they are tasty!
