  1. At this point and without further evidence, I'm not shedding a tear for Admiral Bradley. He knew what they were. He knew what they were going to do.
  2. Haters got to hate.
  3. The WH is throwing the navy commander under the bus on the second strike.
  4. Whatever she's doing she's doing it with Cory Lewandowski...sick
  5. KKKristi Gnome read the new testament and thought the Romans were cool characters.
  6. Keggie needs to stand trial.
  7. Hausman missed on Saturday? I think the young man had best be thinking of a career path that doesn't include the NFL if he's going to ditch on his team for whatever reason. The people who might draft a LB won't do that in the top 3 rounds if they can't rely on him to play in critical games.
  8. Perhaps then America's self-destruction can come to a close.
  9. The OL was mostly excellent considering all the injuries. I think they have a bright future.
  10. If they had had Justice Haynes in the OSU game i don't know if would have seen a different outcome but I think it likely we would have scored a TD or two. We can see the quality gap. OSU can pass and defend and we were lacking on the DL against elite opponents. Wink may have been the issue with the D. Plenty of people who I tend to trust were frustrated as hell with his defenses. On offense: Marsh is the truth when it comes to WR and Mcculley was pretty good and a decent B1G mid-tier WR. The TEs were ok but I think Marlin Klein was a huge drop in talent from Colston Loveland. They need to recruit OSU/Indiana-style awesome WRs to go with the Hiter and Haynes RB recruitments/transfers. Underwood was and is on the same track as JJ McCarthy in a true freshman year. I think the jump between first and second year will be enormous for him. JB Brown needs to be moved to a different position and they need to bring in a superstar ST coordinator to make that a weapon again like it was under Harbaugh's kid Jay.
  11. What it is is a cosmology. Cosmology can include religion.
  12. So, there are numerous examples of the tech lords who were Dems shifting to support for Trump because Biden was not going to kiss their asses. This was my meaning.
  13. Gnome: I won't comply with lawful orders from a judge if I don't like the cut of his gib.
  14. The oligarchs thought they could control this guy better.
  15. Hopefully sound brains in the UK will fix this https://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2025/11/29/admit-truth-brexit-has-been-an-unmitigated-economic-failure/ Vlad got his money's worth with Brexit for sure.
  16. The battle that I expect to happen next is the one to nuke Rubio from the forces of crazy in MAGA world.
  17. So, there is a guy who is the JD Vance/Peter Thiel approved replacement named Daniel Driscoll who is currently Secretary of the Army (is that Secretary of Landwar, now?). I expect they want Kegbreath out soon and this will merely give someone cover to do that.
  18. The good news is that my handicapped brother can vote.
  19. I'm all in favor of that.
  20. Very interesting Michael Weiss interview with Tim Miller last week on the Bulwark Pod. He says Marco Rubio is basically fighting the JD Vance/Don Jr. clique in the WH over Ukraine. Rubio's side are the senators on both sides of the aisle who are normie and who believe in the post WWII security structures (i'm gonna be on that side in some form). Rubio has to play all the games of the MAGAs to keep his neck in this insane farrago of an administration. Whatever is happening with the Venezuelans and or Colombians is intended to distract the MRI-taker from thinking too hard about all this stuff.
  21. WRT religion, there is a saying in the "Flashman" novels (guy is a soldier in the Victorian era British army who gets into comic/historical adventures, great stuff) that goes to effect of 'it doesn't pay to offend the local gods' which summarizes where I am with religion. Enjoy your rituals. Don't go out of your way to attack people for theirs. When people make it their business to control your life based on theirs, that is where there is a problem. The Western tradition is a humanist tradition based in part on the idea of Law (from Judaism) and the rights and protection of the individual (Christianity) with many great variations which would amuse anyone studying our planet from afar. We ended slavery because a bunch of evangelicals in Clapham, London with crazy notions insisted that the British end the slave trade and eventually the seeds of abolition took over the Northern US churches. We desegregated because the modern left and the humanist churches decided that the value of all human life was worth more than what the segregationist fools in the South wanted. We fail in these things often (slavery and racism) but at least there is a schematic structure most people understand. There are people who want to be good out there trying to be good. It doesn't take religion to be good. Religion is a rock to those who need comfort. I will probably ask God to smite Ohio State today but it won't be why what happens happens.
