    The Lions will drive to the 15, stall, and Badgley will shank a 33 yard FG attempt to end the half.

    Do you think it is safe for me to watch the final 24 seconds without the Lions having given up a score by the time I flip back? Update: 17 seconds for the Pistons and 32 yards away from the Lions’ goal line.

    It wasn’t as no-brainer of a decision as it would be against some teams. You would have pushed the Lions into needing to pick up yards on the re-played 3rd down or else leave Bagely with a 51 yarder, which I’d give him about a 1 in 3 chance to make.

    And like 1984 said, it's team-wide. If the Wings were good defensively but weak offensively, you could hope to call up Kaspar if he gets rolling in GR (if), or sign a Kane like they did, or trade for someone now or at the deadline. Not sure defensive play is so easy to fix. Although a better goalie would be a start, I suppose. The Wings have 3 so-so backups, 0 starting goalie.

    I think Lalonde has to be on the hotseat to an extent. Not hotseat as in job is in jeopardy. But hotseat as in getting criticism until he puts in a system that can gets goals against under control.

    Have been in Seattle the past few days and stopped by Husky Stadium and the U-Dub bookstore today. Picked up this t-shirt, marked down 75% to $10 because staff “hopes to be selling national championship game t-shirts on Tuesday”.

    Raymond snaps in the OT winner! A week-10 days ago I said the Wings needed to stop the bleeding. It's past that now. They need to do more than that, they need to go on a run to make up for lost time!

    Off to overtime, tied at 4. I like these Friday night home games for the Wings. Not sure when that stopped for the Wings, but recall it being a thing in the '80s and '90s for sure.
