I thinks being outshot 14-3 by bottom dweller CBJ at home and outscored 2-0 fourteen minutes into the game is a fireable offense. I see no downside to terminating Lalonde at intermission

Maybe, but they had a strong goal differential and they had won more than their share of games in regulation, instead of relying on loser points. Not sure about stuff like PDO and Corsi though.

This is as discouraged as I’ve been about the Wings all season. Up until yesterday’s game I still thought the Wings’ chance of making the playoffs was better than 50/50.

I do think that one win, let's hope tonight a thumping of Arizona, can set the team back into a hot streak. Maybe just wishful thinking. But I think the Wings are actually a pretty good team.
