The Tampa Bay game was a fluky loss. The Lions doubled them in team yards 463-216. They were just out of synch in the red zone that day. This team could very easily be 10-0 right now. The Lions are so ****ing good that the league should give Tampa Bay an automatic playoff berth just for beating them.

You start looking at the playoff seedings now that everyone has played 10 NFC 7 Washington @ 2 Philadelphia 6 Green Bay @ 3 Arizona 5 Minnesota @ 4 Atlanta 1 Detroit with the bye AFC 7 Indianapolis @ 2 Buffalo 6 Baltimore @ 3 Piitsburgh 5 LA Chargers @ 4 Houston 1 Kansas City with the bye Nobody really scares me. The Lions, even without Hutch are better, MUCH better than most of those teams. To me the biggest threat was San Francisco but all that seems to be going right for us is going wrong for them. This team hasn't beaten Philly in a playoff game, but this team is breaking streaks constantly. I think the only thing that stops the Lions is an injury to Goff, or a series of injuries or something fluky. The Lions are the best team in the NFL and it's not even close. If Campbell had Jake Bates last year, he's not going for those 4th downs in that NFC Championship game, and they're winning that game.

I have Fiber now, I think it can be much more than 300 mbps. The Speedometer was pegged all the way. What does your speedtest.net show you? Plugged in Ethernet cord Not plugged in, wireless. Not much of a difference and I am not gaming, so it's plenty fast for my needs. Basically uploading and download .wav audio files. Fast enough to acquire Corey Seager in Out Of The Park '25. I am on August 10th and my Tigers are 50-67 and the real Tigers were 55-63. I am not expecting a turnaround like real life.

It might also be because I am still a relatively new customer and they locked me in for awhile. As Deleterious says, 300 mbps is fine for me. With that I could up load a segment to Under The Radar Radio and Sonic Bliss (heard Sundays at 7 and 9 pm on annarbors107one.com and thisisqmusic.com), in about 2 minutes for each 30 minute segment. But the Fiber is better. And you're in Chicagoland, right? That might be a big reason too. It's like gas prices, it varies depending on your location and how much competition there is. Maybe you only have 1 or 2 choices. Well, 1 isn't a choice, actually.

Yes. No other service. I was already a customer when they changed it to digital and did not charge me more. This was back in August. I got AT&T Fiber. Doc always said I needed more fiber.

I switched to AT&T after WOW had too many drop outs and price hikes. I don't bundle and I am a Gigillionaire (as the commercials say). It's running me about $60. Not complaining. It's how I watch everything, but I am considering dropping You Tube TV. I have been avoiding watching TV the last couple of weeks and watching a lot of You Tube, Netflix and other things. TV is basically just for sports now. The recent switch to digital from AT&T did not cost me any extra money and I can upload a 30 minute music segment via .wav file to my radio station's server in about 40 seconds.

Time to blow this team up? Or stay the course?

Sorry , I missed that they waved Husso. About time. I don't think the two goalies they have now are all that good. Give Cossa a chance. -

A new coach wouldn't make a difference? I strongly disagree with that. But, it would probably be a situation where the next one that comes in is going to need to be a bit of a ****. I have seen teams in hockey, as well as baseball, nearly instantly turn around when that kind of manager/coach comes in, but it usually is a short term coach as the initial push will grind on everyone in a few months. Still really early in the season, but where nearing the quarter mark here and if there isn't some spark by then (Mid December) this season will be lost. You can look to the St. Louis Blues from a few years ago as an extreme example. Craig Berube came in and cracked down on everyone and got them all the way to a Cup victory. Mike Keenan and Joel Quenville did that too, but Keenan didn't make any friends (and didn't care). This team just looks lost and while they let a lot of goals walk out the door in the offseason, there is no excuse for being this flat. None at all. There is talent there, it's just not being used or guided right. Again, I bring up Gerard Gallant's name. He never lasts long, but he does light a fire under guys. I just don't know if there is some rift between he and Stevie or maybe Stevie does not want to hire a personal friend that he knows he'll probably end up having to fire. The pressure builds too. The Lions have this city on fire, we saw what that incredible run did for the Tigers and I've got news for you, the idea of the Pistons having a winning record is not all that crazy. The East is weak this year. They are 6-8 and only a handful of plays away from being 9-5. They're 2-0 in NBA Cup play. They have lost several close games and the losses that were not as close, they weren't hitting shots, but they were GETTING them, and they are very young and they are losing close games like a young team does. The Wings are lagging behind all the other teams. Yep, Stevie hired LaLonde and while he would have to admit he made a mistake, I also think he needs to put his ego aside a bit, like he did as a player. It ain't workin'. All you need to be in the NHL to make the playoffs is in the top half of your conference and that's not all that impressive, but they can't even do that and that's embarrassing this far in to Stevie's tenure. I know turning around MLB and NHL teams takes longer than the NFL or NBA, but asking for this kind of patience is not what fans want to hear now, not with everyone else in the city getting good. And for crying out loud, how much more seasoning Sebastian Cossa need? He's got a .937 save pct and 1.89 GAA this year. I think he might be ready for a look. He wouldn't have to carry the load either. Is he injured right now? -
Where will the Tampa Bay Rays play in 2025

Nashville is going to get their team. How crazy would it be if the Rays ended up playing in Oakland for a few years? Because if this deal is dead, MLB needs to decide in 2025 where this team is going and then start building a stadium somewhere, which means there is the potential for TWO major league franchises to be playing in minor league stadiums for at least the next 3 years. Nashville would certainly be at the top of the list for a permanent home. You can bring up Salt Lake City, Charlotte as the two other leading contenders. After that you start coming up with some problematic places like Montreal, with a weaker Canadian dollar (although I have the sense that won't be the case in a couple of years). Portland is a political nightmare. They protest everything there, and as long as all drugs are decriminalized there is going to be a gigantic homeless problem and MLB will not go there because of that. I think Indianapolis is a great spot, but the Cardinals, Cubs and Reds will never allow it. Northern New Jersey has the population and money but the Yankees, Phillies and Mets would block that. So if baseball really wants to expand they have to solve the A's and Rays problems and probably need to start thinking about the Marlins and White Sox too. To me, any expansion in the near future takes a hit if the Rays leave Florida. But hey, but nobody, I mean NOBODY saw issues with the A's and Rays coming, right?
