  1. But I think most of the big moves in baseball were usually done by then. There's been a major shift in that within the last decade. It was more fun the old way.
  2. Actually, I agree with you. You don't air the dirty laundry like that. No, it ain't going well in Dallas, but I really doubt it's from a lack of effort. McCarthy would not have been in this position otherwise.
  3. He basically said McCarthy could just leave. It was beyond wrong and it shows how toxic things are in Dallas. But if I am the owner and the season is this lost, I'm suspending him for at least a week.
  4. That stretch when you saw @ Dallas vs. Tennessee @ Minnesota @ Green Bay @ Houston You thought 3-2 would be stellar and this team went 5-0. Now you have Jacksonville, @Indy and the Bears for Thanksgiving. I don't see any upsets there. This coaching staff won't allow it. 11-1 is not possible it's very likely. It would take an outbreak of the flu and even then, not sure they wouldn't win all 3. It might help them if they lost one of their last few games to motivate them, but I am not sure they will. Not after this incredible stretch. 16-1 or 15-2 is very possible. Can you imagine the atmosphere in that building hosting an NFC Championship?
  5. New Hot Seat Rankings (Because I don't believe Miami's or The Rams' coaches are in any real trouble) 1. MATT EBERFLUS, Chicago. Should have happened in the offseason, it sure will soon. Maybe very soon. 2. MIKE McCARTHY, Dallas. Jerry doing the midseason thing is still unlikely, but it's really bad there and it wouldn't shock me if it happened now. Maybe even today. Jerry has Mike Zimmer on the staff. But what Micah Parsons said....to me, that's a team suspension. 3. BRIAN DABOLL, NY Giants. The Maras are not very reactionary, but this has gotten bad. Daniel Jones is a great example of why having a mediocre QB have a good year is an absolute nightmare. Then you gotta pay them. 4. DOUG PEDERSON, Jacksonville. 2-8 and the Vikings stunk yesterday, but they still couldn't beat them and Pederson was hired to get the best out of Trevor Lawrence. And now they're coming here? Yikes. 5.KEVIN STEFANSKI, Cleveland. The win over Baltimore shows that anyone can beat anyone on any given Sunday, but it might have spared Stefanski for a little bit 32. DAN CAMPBELL, Detroit. Oh, you're down 10-0 in the first quarter? Oh, down 23-7 at the half? No problem. This like George Costanza living the opposite life for Lions fans. Even when DC makes a bad risky decision it serves a purpose. Amazing.
  6. Get Up talked about the Lions BEFORE they talked about the Cowboys this morning. America's Team.
  7. As far as the Cowboys rebuild, Do you think Micah Parsons is someone the Lions would even consider after what he said yesterday? That's not a Lion. This version of the Lions, nobody does that or would even think it. When Campbell was 3-13-1 nobody did that.
  8. But he never sought personal credit. He was never like that.
  9. 3 times, I've seen a Cowboys receiver not catch a pass because the sun got in their eyes. Great stadium, Jer.
  10. No, no, that's when it's perfect for sleeping.
  11. My Granddad would tell me how they would chant "Frank-ie Sink-which (clap clap clap clap clap)" at Tigers games and road games back in the day
  12. That was maybe the worst game of Jared Goff's career and they still won it. This team is unreal, man. And we get Z next week. Sports fans in Detroit deserve this. We've been suffering for a long, long time. And the Pistons might be decent oo. Too bad the Red Wings are such a snore.
  13. It's like a lifetime of Lions Fan Pain is being reversed in two years. Oh, and screw you, Aaron.
  14. You tend to overreact early in the game.
  15. This team, this ****ing team. It touched the wind sock...............it freaking touched the wind sock That's how close it was !
  16. Is that the longest Field Goal in Lions history?
  17. Wow. So no overreaction, eh? Every good team has 2-4 clunkers in them. And the Lions could still pull this off. Wonder if Goff is ill or something. Gonna love the callers on sports radio tomorrow. All of them will be "Goff sucks". It's one game.
  18. Goff must have had some gummies............
  19. Yep. They never ever recover from slow starts. Ever.
  20. Great game Aaron.
  21. He wouldn't let Ivey play his game last year.
  22. Chiefs are more lucky than good this year. I wonder how many false starts their LT got this week.
