Seems pretty obvious that Purdy can't throw the ball very far and the Eagles know that and will put 8 or even 9 in the box until he proves he can. Hate to see the story end this way.

I think I remember once when the Lions played the Niners and WR Freddie Solomon had to play QB and I also remember a year where the Lions went through 5 or 6 QBs out of injury and suckitude.

And if you saw the video you see the tone set by the cops right away. No wonder he ran. Dude was scared and now we know that fear was justified. After the beating the cops talking with each other - coming up with their story. Sickening.

Can we all just keep in mind, this started at a Traffic Stop. I don't believe this young man had any warrants or was accused of anything other than "Reckless Driving", and lets be honest "Reckless Driving" can be as little as not using a turn signal. Why were so many cops so aggressive with someone over a traffic stop? Seem normal to you?

I will give their Police Chief credit She braced everyone for it.........she didn't hide behind a blue wall and a lot of cops will hate her for it.

Why are they releasing this after dark - on a drinking night. I guess they didnt want chaos before people came home from work. The fact that it's black cops and a black police chief, will that dampen any anger? Watching it now. Straight up murder. It's a fucking murder.

From what I have been able to read, Nichols had no criminal record. He was just a guy.

I think it depends on the video. If it's "Rodney King-like", then no, I don't think they skate. We'll never know. If someone hadn't recorded Derek Chauvin, he'd be a cop right now.

While it likely is mental illness, to accuse him of being targeted is ridiculous. If someone came at them and did the same thing at a mosque and it was recorded, I don't think they'd be given a parade. By the way, does anyone know if this guy is a Kanye West fan, because this happen just a couple of days after his tirade.

It can still be racism if you believe that this kid would have been treated differently if he was white "Same if not worse than Rodney King" is what I just read. I haven't watch it yet. It's worse - Rodney didn't die from this. It may have shortened his life, but he didn't die, so this would be worse, regardless of how it looks.

If he showed up for all the training camps maybe he'd have connected with his young receivers sooner and they wouldn't have stunk in the first half...............Just sayin' Goff showed up for all of the Lions camps.

The more I think about it, the more I believe Aaron is going to stay in Green Bay - and he's doing this shit because he just wants attention. I can't stand him. Ending his season was so sweet. It's just a high to end the season that way. I love you, Kerby Joseph.

I disagree on Wilkes. The Cardinals were rebuilding when they brought him in. The GM drafted Rosen, it didn't work form year one, because rookie QBs are rarely successful. The reason Wilkes got screwed is that they fired him to bring in a losing college coach.
