St. Brown can dead lift almost 600 lbs.

Watched the episode again and everybody we root for won. But they are all hollow victories. What exactly did they win? Gustavo can't be who he really is. All those people surrounding him but he is totally alone and can only trust people that he pays (and even that's iffy). He could never get together with David. His true persona might come out or David could end up a casualty. He has to be guarded at all times. Everything in his life is a lie. Sitting on a mountain of money for what? Mike - this honorable criminal thing...............Nacho's dad set him straight, "you gangsters are all the same". In two sentences he quietly and poetically put Mike in his place. Yeah Mike, a good criminal............fuck you, you're a scumbag. We just like you because you're OUR scumbag. Oh, you're not as twisted as the Salamancas..........well, neither was the Manson Family. Mike doesn't speak Spanish but he got the message loud and clear. No victory there - just sitting at home in the dark drinking his Pabst Blue Ribbon, a sell out as a cop and now a sell out as a crook. No honor in that. Kim - Flew too close to the Sun because it was "fun". Orchestrated ruining a man's reputation and going so far as to flat-out lie to his grieving wife. That's what broke Kim. She didn't just destroy Howard, she destroyed Howard's family, friends and the law firm where her friends work, a place where she would have been a partner in 10-15 years. Destroyed the man that paid for her education because he punished her a little bit. Jimmy - The timeline jump............surrounding himself with tacky opulence to make up for his sad life as Saul Goodman. Going full Saul, with a prostitute in his rotating bed, his gold toilet, his comb-over and NutriGrain bars. Yeah, people screwed you Jimmy, you deserved better from Chuck & Howard, but you destroy everything and this pathetic existence is all that's left. Chimp with a machine gun. It was a very sad episode. And a very very interesting trailer for the next episode with Saul sounding like a carnival barker making a bad cable commercial. Theory is that audio is from the Gene timeline - a store at the mall where Gene works - he gets on the PA and causes some kind of stir as people rush to get free things - maybe trying to draw attention away from something he's going to do. I just love the way they frame thing, no idea what's really coming.

This version of this song popped in my head today.

Yep, Tuco is getting out of jail and he's making some kind of threat towards Saul and that's why when Walt & Jessie kidnap him he freaks out. I can see Tuco getting out and immediately messing with Gus. I am surprised Hector didn't go after Nacho's father just out of being an evil prick. I think we get 2 episodes in the BB timeline and 2 episodes with Gene, where Gene is going to set something straight for Kim and that'll get him killed or caught. That poster with Gene putting on the red coat is there for a reason. Nice breakfast bar.

Seriously, they've had chance after chance after chance to be part of this. They make perfect sense geographically. They make perfect sense academically, They make perfect sense rivalry-wise. But no, they're soooooooooooo special. Well fine, go be special somewhere else. Oh, and I know he's gone (and he'll bomb at LSU), but Brian Kelly killed a kid. Have fun playing whomever you're playing. UCLA, USC, Stanford, Cal, Washington, Utah, Oregon and probably a team or two from Texas are coming Big Ten East Maryland-Rutgers-Penn State-Pitt-Ohio State-Michigan-Michigan State-Indiana-Purdue-Wisconsin-Northwestern-Illinois Big Ten West USC-UCLA-Oregon-Washington-Utah-Stanford-Cal-Texas Tech-Baylor-Iowa-Nebraska-Minnesota Something like that.

No, Notre Dame will refuse just to avoid admitting they were wrong. Let 'em rot. Besides, I think there is a decent chance that we end up with a 24-team Big Ten with Stanford and Cal as part of the Western Division. I'll quote Bo on this one "To Hell with Notre Dame"

By the way, it the time skip when he is getting ready for work he mentions "another public masterbater"...........Remember, he thought that's why Badger was arrested............so we just jumped to the day he met "Mr. Mayhew". But he's not wearing the same thing and that is not a detail that would be overlooked by Vince & Peter. Walt & Jessie should be in the next episode. Dedicated to Julia Clark Downs....................looked her up, she was a legal technical advisor on the show. She was killed in car accident last fall.

if what we're being told is true, if I was a GM I wouldn't touch EROD with a 39 1/2 foot pole -

Theo Epstein For the Tigers?
Motor City Sonics replied to AlaskanTigersFan's topic in Detroit Tigers
I don't think Theo just wants a blank check at this stage. Been there/Done that. I think Theo would want a piece of ownership and the Illtiches are not going to do that. Theo is considered a possible baseball commissioner candidate. I don't see Rob Manfred sticking around too long. He's a boob. -
Should have promoted this ahead of time, but last night's Under The Radar Radio was an All-Canada affair with Art d'Ecco's new album as Pick Of The Week. I think that happens in a couple of episodes. We'll see her fake it for awhile. I really think Carol Burnett is Howard's mom and they have a service for Howard (remember, his car won't be found for a few weeks) and Marion Hamlin will meet Kim and she'll say something like "Oh Howard really spoke highly of you, he was disappointed you left, he was going to make you a partner one day" and that will just tear Kim to shreds. Her two episodes are tonight's "Fun And Games" and next week's "Nippy".

But knowing that Walt & Jessie are appearing in newly-shot scenes kind of implies there has to be a time jump at some point. As exciting as it is for Breaking Bad fans, I wish they weren't showing up or that we didn't know about it. I understand why they told us, there were sightings of them in ABQ a the time of BCS filming, so that would have gotten out anyway.
