Our new Top 5 - Coach Hot Seat Rankings. (This doesn't mean a coach is about to get fired) 5. Dan Campbell, Detroit - I have to have 5, so he's in that ranking now. Will he be fired? No, not as of now. But if he coaches a couple more games like the New England game..........he might not be as safe as you think. In-Season Firing Odds 0% After Season 10% 4. Frank Reich, Indianapolis - He's gotten a couple of wins recently, but the team is far from expectations. I think he'll survive the season, but it all depends on the finish. In-season firing odds 10% After Season 50% 3. Ron Rivera, Washington - Got an ugly win vs. the Bears but he's been getting pretty short-tempered, meaning he's feeling pressure right now. The whole team is a goddamned mess and the owners want Snyder out. Riverboat Ron has had some bad bets this year and this team is far behind in the NFC Beast. In-season firing odds 30% After Season 75% 2. Nathaniel Hackett, Denver - It's been brutal. Russ seems to be on a sharp decline (some say he's out of shape too). This team has floundered offensively on national TV. They aren't out of any playoff picture yet, but if Hackett doesn't unlock Russ soon, he won't survive for a second season and I'm not convinced he finishes the first. In-Season firing odds 30%, After Season 80% 1. Kliff Kingsbury, Arizona. He really hadn't done anything previously to show he's worthy of an NFL Coaching Job. It was a reach to begin with. Plus there is a theory that Kyler really doesn't do his homework and every season after Call of Duty gets released his stats plummet. Fun theory. The thing is that the Cards, at 2-4, are only a game out in a very disappointing division. In-season firing odds 75%. After season 90%. Call of Duty comes out October 28th.

You know what? That went right over my head..............how did I miss that? Well played, sir. I apologize unreservedly. I deeply regret any distress that my actions may have caused you or your family and I hereby undertake not to repeat any such behavior at any time in the future. -
Hey Tom............should have stayed retired.

Well...........The Coaches Poll 1 - Georgia 2 - Ohio State 3 - Michigan 4 - Tennessee 5 - Clemson 6 - Alabama The AP Poll 1 - Georgia 2 - Ohio State 3 - Tennessee 4 - Michigan 5 - Clemson 6 - Alabama Down in Tuscaloosa the fans are probably screaming for Saban to be fired for dropping down to #6................. In My 8 team scenario (Champ from each Power 5 and then 3 wild cards) Georgia, Ohio State, Clemson, TCU and UCLA are the conference reps with Michigan, Tennessee and Alabama invited as Wild Cards.

The way things are going with the Rams the Lions might have 2 Top 10 picks next year. And since we might not see Jameson this year, it would be like adding 3 first round picks next year. They still need to hit in the 2nd round, though.

It's scary movie month. You can take Freddie Kreuger, Leatherface, Chucky, Jason Voorheesm Pennywise - all of them and put them all behind Piper Laurie as Margaret White in "Carrie". Some say Carry is the scary one. She is not. She is a sympathetic character. It's Carrie's mom who is FAR scarier. And all apologies to other actresses who have played the part, but none come close to Piper Laurie's take on it. There is this inner rage in every frame she's in and the character so desperately tries to hide it, but it's there the whole time and it is scary as hell, especially when she smiles.

The City of New York is 9-3 in the NFL right now.

Hey FOX, you can stop kissing Aaron Rodgers' ass now. He decided he didn't want to attend various non-contact camps with his new teammates because he was busy doing some stupid anal cleanse and he did not develop his timing with a lot new players. This crappy start is on him as much as anyone else. He's a jackass.

The New York Fucking Jets just made my day. EAT IT, AARON !
-
Oh...........so NOW the Packers get called for a Hands To The Face...............And poor Aaron is too achy to finish? This is awesome !

But if you win your division, shouldn't you get a big advantage, thus adding value to all the season-long slog to the finish? Home and Away 2-1-2. Sucks for the lower team, but you didn't win your division. I love seeing the Padres (would have loved the Mariners too), but I kind of want to se the best vs. the best, if possible.

Back in 2006 we had the feeling that the Tigers long layoff hurt them. 2 teams that had almost a week off have faltered now and the Yankees could be the third today. Maybe there really is something to it. Kind of like a rhythm to it

I get annoyed at Al Michael's saying Uh-Oh when a player is laying on the ground with a head injury, so I am using it on Under The Radar Radio tonight. This is how Al sounds in the final mix Al Michaels on UTR.mp3

I was kidding. They aren't going to cover that contract.

I only have a few hours, but I will do some laughing at Notre Dame. Preseason Rankings should be banned.

Any news on Tuzz? -
I hope the Padres take it all. They did it without their star............who they might try to get rid of.......................Hey Scott Harris, y'interested?
-
Wow, if the Padres hang on (and I hope they do), the Dodgers, for all the domination in the regular season they've had the last half a decade, the only title would be in 2020....the 60 game seasons that'll never really feel legit. Kind of feels like the early 90's Braves. But who knows, maybe they'll score 5 runs in the top of the 9th.
-
What a day today, some GREAT games. Tomorrow.......... 1 - Georgia 2 - Ohio State 3 - Michigan (sorry, this idea that Alabama will be ahead of them is garbage). 4 - Clemson 5 - Tennessee 6 - Alabama

Down goes U$C. Gotta tell ya, the way the refs handled that clock at the end - it was very very suspect.

Sometimes you gotta steal a few. They stole one tonight. They'll have a few stolen from them too, but this feels nice. It certainly feels like we're going to lose Tyler Bertuzzi for a few weeks. So, this looks like Filip Zadina's time to step in. Do you pop him right on the top line - prove it, kid?
