  1. I'll have to rely on you fine people to tell me what's happening. Remember though, "Any rebroadcast, retransmission or account of this game without the expressed written consent of Major League Baseball is prohibited and punishable by having Rob Manfred try to explain new rules for hours"
  2. I dont' have apple tv how can I watch?
  3. Do you ever think about what you would do if you were in a normal situation and started hearing shooting? Like when you are in a grocery store if you heard it from the other side of the building how you would get out? I think about that all the time. Ever since the Station nightclub fire in Rhode Island (The Great White fire), I ALWAYS check to see where the closest exits are whenever I go to a concert. That place was fully engulfed in less than 5 minutes and most of the people died because everyone went to one exit which got jammed. One of the audience members ran towards the stage and THROUGH the initial fire because he knew there was an open exit at the back of the stage and snow banks on the ground outside, he did not get seriously burned and lived. Wish I didn't have to think about such things.
  4. Anything happen today, or do Fridays put people in a less murdery mood?
  5. I mean, it's only June 3rd and an outfielder is a -10 ? How bad is Bryce Harper that they have him DH'ing instead of Nick? Nick is kind of built like a first baseman but he's never played there which means he must just have awful footwork.
  6. Javy only has 2 runs saved defensively (according to fielding bible). Remember when we thought Jose Iglesias was a good fielder? He's already at -6 this year. Yikes. Castellanos is a -10 - as an outfielder. Wow.
  7. Yes, he is still a positive player for us. Maybe move him down in the lineup. If he wants to hit 3 or 4 again, prove it.
  8. Do they realize that the shooter can just spray bullets all around without looking?
  9. Sorry, we've killed all the bees............bananas will be gone by 2026.
  10. I think the Tampa Bay Rays knew he was going to injure his hand when they let the Tigers sign him.
  11. He's only got so many AB's left in his life................why waste them there?
  12. That may be the worst home run call I have ever heard.
  13. Meadows left the game early. Uh-Oh.
  14. I can see it now.............Friday June 10th Tigers hosting Toronto H Castro, rf - Keep him in until he cools off Meadows, lf - Here comes the power ! Schoop, 2b - He finally came out of the coma Cabrera, dh - It's like an obligation at this point Baez, ss - As some point hitting gets contagious, right? Torkelson, 1b - He'll be up to .220 by then Greene, cf - Major League Debut ! Candelario, 3b - If he gonna hit like an 8, he's gonna hit 8 Barnhart, c - Don't care about his hitting. Willi, Reyes, Haase and Hill on the bench At this point I don't really care if Grossman comes back.
  15. But he'll need 5 weeks to recover from the injury.............
  16. and better fans too.
  17. 6 out of 8 against divisional opponents with 2 starting pitchers and 2 outfielders on your roster and one of your names (Javy) not hitting yet - that's impressive as hell. WE NEEDED MORE OF THIS IN ARPIL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. Well done, that's impressive. But you can't put down what they ate for dinner?
  19. They tried to make him go to rehab but he said no, no, no
  20. I don't know why Lynn Henning is suggesting Riley Greene has to have a 5-week rehab at Toledo. Now, it may take 5 weeks, sure, but if he starts hitting the ball well then, with a shortage of true outfielders even after Austin Meadows returns, why would they wait that long? Henning suggested in a tweet that recovery wise it will take 5 weeks at Toledo. That makes absolutely no sense. If he's not ready, then why would he play AT ALL, ANYWHERE? I don't know what happened to Lynn but he kind of stopped making sense a while ago. I started having my doubts when we interviewed him on WTKA and he said Scott Sizemore was a better defensive 2b than Placido Polanco. Um, what?
  21. Great pitcher. Sure, no problem but a couple of things. The B-12 and Lidocaine injections in his arse for a sore arm. That's not how lidocaine works. One of the Senators doing the questioning was Bill Frist, who was a physician. Frist didn't bother to bring up the fact that Lidocaine is a very localized nerve blocker. When you go to the dentist they inject it directly into the gum where they will be working, not in your arm or rear end. This always bothered me - that Frist was so star-struck he didn't ask the obvious question about why he would get a lidocaine shot in his arse. Another major problem I always had with Clemens is when he was in the AL he threw at guy's heads all the time. Wow, that's tough - for a guy that didn't have to bat. You want to dot a guy you throw it at his back or rear end where he likely won't get seriously hurt - throwing at a guy's head is a cowardly move when you don't have to bat yourself and you only set your teammates up to get hit. I KNOW this, I mean KNOW it - Mike Piazza was telling the hitters what was coming in that All-Star game in Clemens home stadium. Thanks, Mike. Plus there is the whole Mindy McCready thing, as if she needed another thing to contribute to her mental illness. I just hate the guy. Nothing against his son (who resembles young Al Kaline). I wish Kody well, but his stay here will be short when Austin comes back this weekend and Riley Greene the weekend after that.
  22. Did not know about this. Irma Garcia was one of the teachers killed at Robb Elementary. Her husband Joe, died from a heart attack two days later. They don't count that in the final tally, but they should. They were buried together. All she was doing was trying to teach little kids and that piece of shit from that psychotic state in this warped country killed her. I'm right in line with Gabe Kapler, I'm not standing for a song about bombs anymore. Fuck that. Even our anthem has violence.
  23. Tulsa was not alone last night. Someone was shot at a nail salon in Pennsylvania in a town called Pittston (boy I'd lobby for a new name). Shots fired outside Grant High school in Van Nuys, CA. On average 110 people are killed by guns every single day in this country. Great invention. Right up there with cigarettes and smartphones.
