  1. Compliments for A'Shawn Robinson.............another guy that Patricia forced out of Detroit.
  2. Stafford PICKED OFF..............not his fault.
  3. these halftime shows are just too f'ing long.
  4. OK Boomer....... I mean, Bomber.
  5. Watching with the sound off. Is this Collinsworth's last game? I just grew so tired of him going on and on and on about the same thing. I mean he would just talk over and over about the same thing. Just a different angle to talk about the same thing. If you wanted one thing to be pounded into the ground, he's your man. I mean the same thing. Over and Over and Over........... Do we have to tolerate Romo next year?
  6. Well, the way it happened, it's probably very serious. Non contact injury like that.
  7. Yep. Lots of 2nd half scoring..............
  8. Beckham, what happened? Stafford with the Pick, but it was basically the same as a punt on 3rd down.
  9. In game parlay for me is Field Goals for both teams 1.5 OVER Joe Burrow 230 yards passing OVER TD for Kupp TD for Chase Total Points 148.5 OVER I bet $10, which was a free token from mgm. If I win I get $145. If I lose I lose nothing.
  10. Nice TD call for the Bengals.
  11. That short pass to Jamarr Chase inside the 10, should have been illegal formation
  12. Is it still really 'Paranoia' if they really ARE out to get you?
  13. There are very good things in our future. Yzerman is a tremendous GM. I check Edmonton Oilers sites, they're on to Holland now. I think Holland gets a lot of credit for things Jimmy D actually set up here. Evander Kane is doing alright for the Oilers.............but give it time, he'll screw it up.
  14. I knew Frank when I interned at the FM station and he was on WJR. Always nice to me (and trust me, not every radio personality was nice to the interns). He was also smart enough to not take the Tigers radio gig after Ernie got fired. He knew that person wouldn't have had a chance. Can't say I agreed with his politics and he stepped in it badly a few years ago. I thought he was good at play by play for both Michigan and the Tigers, but the standard is Ernie Harwell and Dan Dickerson and that is a very high standard.
  15. Aren't non-roster players reporting to Spring Training on time?
  16. Neither side really wants to give in. They don't care if they damage the game 10 years down the road.
  17. From the porch into the front door there is a step of about 10 inches and Diego stands there rocking back and forth because 3 years ago he slipped on the wood when it was wet. I have grip strips on it now and he can't slip but he still will not step on that, so I have to get behind him and coach him, sometimes loudly. Lately I just started picking up his front half and setting it down inside the house and boy does he hate that, but it's better than standing there letting all the cold into the house.
  18. I'm so sorry about Charlie. I lost one that way in Georgia in 1994 (same day Cobain died). It was completely devastating. His name was Bongo. I honored Bongo by getting a shelter Dog named Tony. I had him for 13 years. This is Diego. He's a 16 year old Border Collie. (Pic was from March 2020). He is a very very good dog. He has problems moving around now, as well as with his eyesight and I had to build a ramp out of dirt and grass up to my front porch because he can't step on the concrete steps anymore and can't do the tile steps in the kitchen by the back door I bought a ramp with grip strips on it but he refused to step on it. The grass ramp looks dumb, but I don't care. Even though he has trouble getting around and only goes outside when I do now, he is still very good about holding his water. Most dogs I had that got older didn't make that kind of effort. When I say this, I don't mean it metaphorically...........He is literally my best friend in the truest sense of the word and I know he won't be around much longer, but he's happy and he's gotten me through a lot of tough times.
  19. I would not want the same place to have the skiing events every 4 years, but pick 4 places where the athletes say the skiing is the best and most challenging and rotate them every 4 years. Do that with subcategories. You could have sets of Olympic events going on in the same Olympics in Asia, North America, Western Europe, Easter Europe and South America (in the Summer) all in the same Olympics. Ooooh, so we would lose the Opening Ceremony.............who cares about that. Those cost more than the GDP of half the countries on the planet anyway. Make it truly world wide every Olympics.
  20. I don't know why it continues this way. How about this, you find 4 or 5 places to host all the Downhill skiing events - and rotate them every 4 years Do the same thing with a bunch of other events, so this way The Olympics would be taking place in several places every 4 years and it works out better for scheduling, as well. I think it would be cool to have Olympic Hockey games all over the U.S. in one year, Sweden another year, Russia another year, Canada in another - You could have qualifying games in different arenas. Like the World Cup. Have Olympic events in any given year on several continents, different time zones, make the actual LIVE Olympics like a 24 hour live event. We go now to German for this and meanwhile in Sydney this and later today from Dallas it's this event........ Now we would still have to find a way to get rid of all the horrible corruption, but I think by not having it in one place, a place that simply has too much power, you cut down on that part. Don't know what to do about 15 year olds on doping programs or Ski jumpers eliminated for their outfits (has to be political), but it is time to try something different or just end it. It's not about sports anymore. Not even a little bit. Everything is a controversy and this whole national pride bullshit sucks. I just want to see the best doing amazing things, I don't care where they are from.
  21. Rob Manfred talking is like adults on Peanuts. WHAU WHAU WHAU WHUA WHUA WHUA
  22. GAZPACHO POLICE ??????? Oh for fuck's sake She's single handily making a mockery of Congress
  23. Seriously.................there is so much corruption and so much of it is political, not to mention what has happened to cities before and after the Olympics, what's the point of it anymore? It doesn't seem to be much about sports anymore, does it? I don't like the fact that countries with more money get all the advantages. We're supposed to be finding out who is the best athlete, right? Seeing so many cheating scandals and blatant corrupt judges (ask Roy Jones) and corruption with the officials in charge. Remember when, just before Obama became President, he went to speak to the committe about Chicago hosting the Olympics (I think it was for 2016) and people said he failed to get it done? I don't know, I think he might have intentionally made sure it wouldn't be in Chicago. It just seems like there is more negative about it these days (including the TV ratings). Why do the Olympics all have to take place in one area? Why can't we have Olympics in different venues around the world for different sports. To me, that would be the future way to do it and still keep "The Olympics".
