  1. Imagine if Trump is on that trip to Mars and you had to dump his fat orange corpse. It would start orbiting earth like a blood moon. A constant reminder of how America ****ed up.
  2. Trump was only +1 with 65 and over. His best age group is Gen X and younger boomers. The people who are about 10 years away from social security are his biggest supporters. After paying into it all their lives, it will be gone.
  3. Probably better than Vildor. Pretty much just depth. Not sure if he is guaranteed to make the roster or not.
  4. The Mars talk is Musk's grift. It's never going to happen. He always makes these promises and never delivers but it causes people to invest in SpaceX. It's like with Tesla. Full self driving was a year away, in 2016. He was going to have a million robotaxis on the streets by 2020. He's PT Barnum. Just smoke and mirrors to pump the stock.
  5. He was the top vote getter for the ASG when he didn't even play the first half due to injury. I still remember all the McDonald's and Sprite commercials he was in. I also remember a brief moment after Jordan retired discussion was if Hill would be the next Jordan. It's a shame his career was cut short due to injury.
  6. I forgot West Virginia, but we all knew Dems were cooked there.
  7. They picked up senate seats in Ohio and Montana which were always going to be red states. Testes and Brown way outperformed the top of the ticket. I think if Brown runs again in 2026 to backfill JD Vance's seat, he can win. I was a little surprised Casey lost Pennsylvania, but Dems won statewide senate races in MI, WI, AZ, and NV and Dems won all the statewide races in North Carolina. They all ran against Trump imitations. No one has been able to duplicate his success.
  8. Cade is the new Grant Hill. Hill was marketed heavily as a Piston.
  9. I don't think Dems need to change much. In every swing state that Trump won except Pennsylvania, Dems won the down ballot races. Dems overperformed in the midterms and in special elections. Down ballot Dems overperformed down ballot in red states like Brown and Tester. Trump is a cult. No one has proven to be able to replace Trump. I'm not sure what happens when Trump is gone. My thought is there will be many right wingers fighting with each other for a piece of the biggest grift.
  10. In dictatorships, the offspring don't run, they are appointed as successors.
  11. Dorsey is back.
  12. If you got rid of divisions, you could do a schedule of 15 games against the NFC and 2 against the AFC. I don't think the NFL would want that as you would lose out on some prime matchups.
  13. The tush push is like finding a glitch in a video game and just exploiting it constantly. I'm not even sure it's legal as it is. When Kelce was doing it, he would move the ball forward which is a false start. It was rarely called.
  14. It's based on CNN exit polls, but they stack up with other exit polls I have seen. https://www.cnn.com/interactive/2024/politics/2020-2016-exit-polls-2024-dg/
  15. There was a bigger shift of women to Trump than men to Trump. White men moved slightly to Harris. Latino men made a big shift to Trump and black men made a smaller shift to Trump. There was also a huge swing to trump in low propensity voters. It goes against the narrative of people not being politically active. They heard the dog whistle from Trump.
  16. Harris got 6 million fewer votes than Biden and Trump got 3 million more votes in 2024 than he did in 2020. There appears to be a combination of fewer Biden voters voting and probably some crossover. One big difference is Hispanic voters turned hard right. Also you voters went right. Harris actually did better with whites than Biden.
  17. They said they wanted a boring president. They threw Biden overboard for a younger and more charismatic candidate and that didn't work either. Harris was fighting a media that was treating her differently than Trump and a social media environment run by right wing oligarchs. Add in Hamasholes and third party rat****ers and she was always going to be at a disadvantage.
  18. Biden got the most votes ever in any single election in history. The Dems are fighting an information ecosystem controlled by the right wing and a segment of rat****ing leftists. Dems, particularly progressives, have this weird phobia of never being able to celebrate accomplishments. Biden gets a bill passed that caps insulin, allows Medicare to negotiate drug prices, made historic investments in green energy, and created millions of jobs and progressives publicly complained it wasn't good enough. The economy was good under Biden, but Dems kept running away from it and threw Biden under the bus. Republicans would never do that to Trump.
  19. Ironically, if the Lions would have beaten the worst team in the weak NFC South, they would have made the playoffs that year.
