Clinton beat Trump by 3 million votes. She had the Comey email thing when things like that actually mattered to voters. States like Georgia passed voter suppression laws after 2020.

Excellent, since Hillary was 9 years ago and attitudes change, she would probably have a shot now. Obama is still the most popular Democrat. Most polls have Michelle Obama with the highest favorability of any potential Dem candidate, and I think she would win easily. I also believe MAGA is going to continue to become even more unpopular so any reasonable Dem would win.

The same party hasn't won three straight terms since HW Bush won in 88. Hillary wasn't going up against an unknown politically with Russia putting their thumb on the scale. She still beat him by 3 million votes. In some states, voting was harder in 2024 than 2020 so I disagree about voting being easier. Overall turnout was down in 2024.

I’m not convinced. Obama is still the most popular democrat. Hillary and Harris were out in tough situations. Hillary did win the popular vote and Harris got 75 million votes.

People like Hogg believe 100%if nothing is better than 70% of something because you’re standing on your alleged principles. Biden gave them 70%, they didn’t want it, and now we have backslid so far it will take a generation or two just to get back to where we were. They have this asinine belief that if you lose elections you’ll move to the left. The next Dem president will be to the right of Biden.

So why do the Democrats have to change their messaging?

So the Hispanics ignored Trump? They heard Trump loud and clear. They just didn't think Trump was talking about them. They were fine if the others got deported.

Democrats just need to tell Hispanics they're poisoning the blood of Americans and they will kick them out of the country.

You got me. Trump's ability to turn the US into a Central American dictatorship stopped immigration. Those elite Dems wanted the US to continue to prosper.

Fantastic, all Democrats have to do is tell Hispanics what do they have to lose. I mean, Dems are better. Hispanics voted for this. Trump made his intentions very clear. He's not actually doing anything about the border. He's just rounding up Hispanics in border states such as *check notes* Maryland and Massachusetts. They get what they voted for.

Biden literally negotiated a bipartisan border bill supported by border patrol and Republicans nixed it. Border crossings were down. Hispanics voted for Trump because they didn't think they would be affected. The Venezuelans in Miami didn't think they would be affected. Half of the border states voted for Harris anyways. In fact, she won more border counties than Trump did. When do Republicans ever appeal to urban cities? Trump attacked Detroit and says they cheat on the election. No one ever tells Republicans so change their messaging to inner cities. There's no news safari to a barbershop on 7 Mile asking why they support Harris. It's a double standard and voters have no agency. They were told this was going to happen. It was literally in writing.

You have to admit, Trump was pretty good at messaging to Hispanics. He said they were all murderers and rapist from a floating island of garbage who are poisoning the blood of Americans and they are eating all the dogs and cats and must be deported immediately. How would you not vote for that?
