There were several quality candidates in 2020. Biden beat them all. This DNC being an evil entity in their lair deciding who the nominee is didn't really start until the Bernie losers started crying about losing. It was Bernie Sanders who was claiming the election was rigged before Trump.

In 2020 there was Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Pete Buttigieg, Kamala Harris, Corey Booker, Amy Klobuchar, Michael Bloomberg, and Joe Biden as legitimate choices. Where is this lack of choice? When Buttigieg and Klobuchar realized they weren't going to win, they got the hell out right away and got behind Biden.

This also works for Republicans with people protesting voting.

They let him walk because they mismanaged the cap and couldn’t franchise him.

It never happens that way. We saw it in 2016. All it does is weaken Biden.

Outside of voting for Kwame Kilpatrick, it’s was the worst voting decision I ever made and wish I voted for Hilary in the primary.

Dean Phillips accepted donations from Harlan Crow who is a wealthy Republican donor and personal friend of Clarence Thomas who gave Thomas luxury vacations among other things but sure he’s not establishment and is younger than Biden.

I literally voted for Bernie Sanders in 2016 and supported him and was a self described socialist. Get out of here with this establishment. Dean Phillips is a moderate and one of the wealthiest people in congress. He’s a former ceo. It doesn’t get more establishment than that. The problem is now he’s hiring republican campaign managers, funded by right wing groups, openly said he would consider joining the Republican ticket, has said he would consider picking right wingers like Musk and Ackman for a cabinet position, dropped DEI because his right wing donor wanted him to, and is just a three time back bencher with no notable legislative accomplishment. I don’t have patience for playing games with such high stakes.

Let’s vote for the guy that wants to give cabinet positions to Elon Musk and Bill Ackman because Biden’s old.

Half the population lost a right they had for 50 years because of Trump. Thousands of people died unnecessarily because of Trump. Whole generations will be affected because of Trump’s Supreme Court. Trump is promising to deport millions of people. You do your protest vote because Biden is old.

Yeah so you’re only voting for him because he’s younger. You said you were protest voting. We’re facing unprecedented threats to our democracy and you’re having purity contests because someone is old.

So you’re protest voting for a guy who’s only message is Biden old in the hopes of sending a message to Biden to be a better speaker and less old?

When have any of these protest votes ever got the point across? Also, Biden is running for a 4 year term so I don’t give a **** what happens in 5 years. Who cares if Biden dies? Why is Dean Phillips better than Harris? Biden has been the best president in decades likely due to his age.

So your only argument is he’s old? He’s the most successful democrat since Johnson but he’s old. He’s apparently a good communicator considering the bipartisan legislation he’s passed in one of the most hostile congress since the civil war. I’m curious what your vote for Phillips accomplishes when he’s going to lose in a landslide? He’s already said he would be Haley’s VP, has turned against DEI, and had hired a republican campaign manager. Just give him time but hey he’s not old.

Voting for a back bencher congressman who voted with Biden 100% of the time and his only message is Biden is old.

Did my early in person voting today. Most of the poll workers were Muslim. I wanted to tell them I was voting for Biden. That was secondary to the fact that Jocelyn Benson was there. Got to shake her hand but she seemed in a hurry so I didn’t say much or ask for a selfie.

I’m so done with progressives. Biden gave them what they wanted and they still found something to purity contest over. Time to pivot to winning over some Haley voters.
