As much maligned as the Lions defense has been, they have given up 23, 20, 20, and 24 points the last 4 games. Not elite but good enough with this offense.

The Rams ran motion on 91% of their plays. I'm actually surprised they didn't have any false start or delay of game penalties. McVay, by far, leads the league in timeouts to prevent delay of game penalties. Those timeouts were huge in this game and also huge in their loss to the Ravens. The Lions also struggle against motion and Minnesota, with O'Connell being a coach under McVay, run a similar style motion offense. I think they can do better against Tampa or the Eagles.

I was reading Rams fans before the game saying how much smarter McVay was than Campbell. He clearly out coached McVay. If Campbell was 5'9 and 160 pounds with glasses and didn't mention biting off kneecaps, people would talk about how analytical and smart he is. He's been perfect at blending the rah-rah football and analytics. It truly has been a great hire. I don't think any other team interviewed Campbell.

I figured Cowboys fans would want to see that they are no longer the only team the Lions have beaten in the playoffs in the Super Bowl era.

I really want the crowd in the next game to get a fire Weaver chant going.

The tackle is clearly beat and you can see him behind Hutchinson reaching around. If not for that hold, Stafford was going to get clocked.

The refs also swallowed the whistle on the obvious hold on Hutchinson on that pass interreference. At worst it should have been offsetting penalties.

For all the talk on the pass interference that wasn't called, there was an obvious hold on Hutchinson on that play. The tackle was beat pretty bad and had his armed wrapped around Hutchinson's neck. Stafford was going to get crushed on that play.

They'll also need to honor Patricia for that one time he beat the Patriots.

In case anyone was wondering of ownership mattered in sports, just look at the Lions and Pistons.

That Stafford answer was Aaron Rodgers level passive aggressive.

I actually think less of Stafford now and think Kelly is rubbing off on him. That answer about feeling good for the players just reeked of entitlement. Was he really expecting a hero's welcome? Those 4th downs were all a bit long and Campbell got criticized for not kicking the FG against Dallas on 4th down. If I remember correctly, one of those 4th and goal plays would have had to been with Wentz because Stafford was knocked out of the game.
