I wouldn't mind if they did a little nod to the Michigan team but we need to get over the long time girlfriend who dumped us for the pretty boy out in LA. We got the pretty boy's sloppy seconds and it turns out she's a great girl who was just underappreciated and not treated right.
I really hope they don't do some sort of tribute to Stafford before the game. He asked the leave. He didn't want to be here. It was 3 years ago. Our guy is Goff now.
I just thought, I wonder if Carolina getting the Germany game is punishment for Tepper throwing a drink on a fan? Basically taking away a home game. I have no other idea why you would want to showcase the Panthers internationally.
There is probably going to be a time during the game where Kelly Stafford is shown on the big screen and there will be some fans who boo and she'll go and cry on social media.
The teams is filled with lottery picks. Even if they are failed lottery picks, there should be enough talent to be better than 3-35. The coach is the 2nd highest paid in the league and he's worse than Casey.
The Saints have already said they are bringing Allen back. I would really look out for Sirianni if the Eagles lay an egg in Tampa. They moved on from Pederson rather quick after winning a Super Bowl. There seem to be locker room issues popping up in Philadelphia.
Here's another one I'll throw out there. McVay. He gets blown out by Goff and decides to retire and go into TV.
It is the billionaire hedge fund manager who is doing an interview with the numbers guy.
I've also seen Mike Martin's name thrown out there. He is in the Lions scouting department and the Lions have been killing it in the draft.
I know you will hear the refrain that there are only 32 jobs available, but if you go to a team with a bad owner with a quick trigger, it could be the last job you get.
I agree this turned out great for the Lions and I think the Lions got the better of the trad. My point is I don't think Stafford winning a Super Bowl meant it was a win for the Rams because I believe with better management of Goff they could have built a team capable of winning the Super Bowl without paying a premium to make Goff go away. I also think Brad Holmes was the only one who could make this happen since he an inside view of the dynamic between Goff and McVay. I don't think he ever viewed Goff as a bridge. That alone would be an indictment on McVay.
I agree McVay and Goff weren't going to have success and I attribute that to McVay. What I am saying is McVay mishandled Goff after the 2018 Super Bowl when Zac Taylor left. He basically forced the Rams into having to discard Goff and pay a premium to do so. It was the right decision by the Rams to move Goff but it shouldn't have come to that if McVay had done a better job in the years prior to the trade.
