    Lot of pass rushers being signed. Maybe the Lions are lurking for Hunter.

    Cousins gets 4/180 and people were expecting Goff to sign for that.

    I simply don't get the strategy in Minnesota. They lay out good money for a pass rusher and then let Cousins walk. Even with Cousins, they were probably the worst team in the division. They are like the Saints. Content to be a 7-9 win team every year.

    Pollard gets a 3/24 contract. Price of running backs has gone up. Good thing the Lions got in ahead of the boom when everyone mocked them.

    My assumption has been it would take a 1st for Snead, but if they are willing to take a late 2nd, I would do that. Then again, if the Lions are looking to make a splash, just sign Fuller and keep the pick.

    I think it's funny Bears fans gave the Lions **** for signing Montgomery to a big contract and hear they give an even larger contract to the Lions discarded RB.

    The Lions maybe able to shave a year off since Goff is older than Hurts/Burrow/Herbert who signed big extensions.

    I didn't think Goff was going to get less than $50 million under the old cap. I think his contract will push $250 and possibly ahead of Hurts.

    I don't like trading a 1st for a player you will immediately have to give a big contract to. You're paying a 1st round pick just to negotiate.

    Hyde Park reminded me of Grosse Pointe. People with means who shielded themselves off from the undesirables. I understand Grosse Pointe is a separate municipality but those were the vibes I got.
