  1. I wanted Stafford to go and win a Super Bowl to prove all the haters wrong. He did it. My grieving process is over. It's time to move on and what's best for the Lions is for the Rams to lose as many games as possible.
  2. CVS announced they are closing 900 stores nationwide over the next 3 years but sure in San Francisco it's because of all the liberal thieves. A quick look at the CVS website shows there are at least 25 CVS in San Francisco. In 2019, Walgreens announced they were closing 200 stores nationwide. A quick look at their website shows at least a dozen stores in San Francisco. You said you can't find certain chains in the city. There are a couple dozen of these stores in San Francisco.
  3. Don't worry, the media will find something wrong with Biden and the progressives will help them. For instances, Cori Bush is whining that Biden isn't canceling student like he promised when in fact Biden never promised to cancel all student debt, just 10k which he has done. Apparently, Bush can't introduce legislation and whip up the votes and get it to Biden's desk.
  4. The Target store that closed was not the one in your article. That store is still open. It's been a common talking point in right wing media that it closed. Some other points made in your article; the increase in property crimes is not unique to San Francisco. It's increasing everywhere. The property crime is still down from it's all time high in the late 80's and early 90's. You also didn't mention that San Francisco is pretty low in violent crimes. Among the six cities with the nearest population, San Francisco has the second lowest murder rate. Only liberal heelscape Seattle has a lower murder rate.
  5. Looks like Sinema replaced it with a tax on stock buybacks. Still projected to reduce the deficit by $300 billion. Eliminating the carried interest makes no sense for her constituency but this is the best we can do given the circumstances.
  6. Its been a long time since I've been to San Francisco, but I would much rather live in San Francisco than Detroit. Our car was stolen, prostitutes would work on the corner, drugs and gangs were in the community and that was considered the good part of Detroit.
  7. What chains aren't in the city anymore?
  8. Since no one goes to A's games anymore, they should just let the homeless live in the Coliseum.
  9. It's not just cold. Sacramento this time of year can get really hot. I would rather have 60's all year long than have 90's in the summer. All I would need to do is steal a jacket from Target.
  10. San Francisco does attract homeless from around the state and country. The weather is one factor but the other is San Francisco is just more accepting of homeless. You even see it here. In Warren the police have been known to round up homeless and dump them in Detroit. Repeat offenders get dumped in Ann Arbor.
  11. You made the claim Target closed a store because of Democrats liberal crime policy that forced them to close and may continue to force them to close until none are left. First off, San Francisco is still well served by Target. There are as many stores per capita in San Francisco than any other city. Target closed one store and they said it was because of low sales. It seems this Target closing stores because of theft has been peddled on right wing media. Sorry if your right wing talking points got blown up.
  12. San Francisco is much denser than Dallas. Only New York has a higher population density amongst major cities. Given it's high density and small footprint, it seems it would be served by adequately by fewer physical stores. I see no indication of their being no stores as you put it any time soon. There are also a couple dozen Walgreen stores in the city as well. You mentioned San Francisco as an outlier city. I'm not sure what that is suppose to mean, but the city has a fairly average crime rate amongst large cities but seems to get outsized media attention. I'm also not sure what a dissenter on Detroit crime statistics is suppose to mean.
  13. Robbery is the only thing higher in San Francisco. You're only more likely to get raped, assaulted and killed in Tulsa.
  14. A Target store closed in San Francisco in what Target said was due to under performing sales. Had that store stayed open, it would have made San Francisco have a higher number of store per capita than other major cities. In doing just a little searching, I see a lot of right wing media running with the Target had to close because liberals stole everything.
  15. Looking further into this, San Francisco has a very small footprint for a city with its population. It has a Target store for every 11.725 square miles. Dallas for example has a Target for every 56.6 square miles. Me thinks Target may have just been over saturated in the San Francisco market but OMG where will the people shop?
  16. A quick search of Target.com shows four Targets in the city of San Francisco.
  17. Watson chose to sit out last year because he wanted to be traded. It wasn't some sort of punishment.
  18. I wonder what is different between the liberal policies of Detroit and Windsor? Or are we just going to say Canada is a conservative country now?
  19. San Francisco has an identical theft rate to Tulsa and has a lower burglary and motor vehicle theft rate than Tulsa but one is "surging" and the other is just ignored.
  20. It's not like Ohio has elected a Democratic senator lately. Oh wait...
  21. You know what city has a significantly higher violent crime rate than San Francisco and Portland? Republican led Tulsa. Their murder, rape and assault rates are nearly 3 times higher than San Francisco and yet you'll never hear about it.
  22. The violent crime rate in San Francisco is below the national average but media and conservatives act like it is some sort of hellscape.
