    Lions run defense has really gone under the radar. Jets had 22 carries for 50 yards. Their longest run was 6 yards.

    I think they should give home field advantage to the team with the better record. Keep the seeding the same, division winners get the 1-4 seeds but a division winner is not guaranteed home field. I think that would really only apply to the 4-5 matchup. I think it would be rare the 6th seed has more wins than the 3 seed.

    Skip Bayliss is much worse. Stephen A Smith isn't bad when he's not in character.

    I look at the schedule for Washington, Seattle and New York and do not see either of them going 3-0. I very much see the Lions capable of going 3-0. This game against the Jets was a test. They went on the road in December against a good team fighting to stay in the playoffs and won. The game I worry the most about is Green Bay. Hopefully they already clinch by then.

    I think in some ways we want the Giants to win to keep pressure on Dallas since Dallas faces Washington at the end of the season. Dallas will want that 5th seed.

    Washington plays San Francisco and Seattle plays Kansas City. Can easily be in the playoffs next week.

    I'm not sure how a 4 way tie with for 2 spots are going to work which I believe would happen if they tie.

    It's very conceivable the Lions are in the playoffs by this time next week.

    To be fair, Amani is that guy. Other teams would always be throwing it Amani's way that they wouldn't throw it to the other corner.

    Maybe Washington's magic is running out. They have games against San Francisco, Cleveland and Dallas. Not an easy remaining schedule.

    According to Kornacki, Giants have a 31% chance to make the playoffs if they lose and Washington 38%. I think Seattle is done so I think the Lions got this.
