  1. The most dangerous border city in the US is on the Canadian border so you Canucks should stop sending your murderers and rapists over the border.
  2. The family seems large but not that large. That's over 1.5 gallons of milk per day. Where do they store all this milk? They have to have multiple refrigerators and/or go to the grocery store daily. The media uses a non typical family with a milk addition to try to highlight inflation. Milk hasn't even been under $2 nationally in a long time.
  3. 12 gallons of milk a week?
  4. I mean, Republicans always vote against their interests. West Virginia is one of the poorest states in the country with no billionaires but they continue to vote against funding for their state in favor of billionaires.
  5. I can see Fox News now, first critical race theory and now reparations. The city of Detroit will have another anemic turnout in 2022 and rural Michigan will turnout and Democrats will lose.
  6. Yeah, looking into it apparently. Maybe when they look into it and find out they are broke they will drop it. Either way, it's new fodder for Republicans in 2022.
  7. Don't worry, Democrats have this under control. Detroit just overwhelmingly approved reparations. The city that can barely keep its lights on and provide adequate services will somehow pay reparations.
  8. Was Ted Cruz's father there?
  9. That's what I'm getting at. If he were a WR drafted 8th and put up an 80 catch 1,000 yard season, that would likely be acceptable for that spot in the draft. Since he's a TE drafted 8th, the expectation is he should be another Kelce or Gronkowski.
  10. The NFL salary cap is going to explode. It may be wise to lock Hockenson up now. Even if they make him a top 3 TE in salary now, that's likely not to be in a year or two.
  11. He's really not far off from being an 80 catch 1,000 yard receiver. If he were a WR, that would be fine production but since he's a TE there is an expectation that he must be among the best ever.
  12. Fun fact, David Carr's middle name is Duke. Have to imagine that is intentional.
  13. He is on pass to catch 96 passes and is still one of the better blocking TE. It's hard to evaluate when he is the only legit receiving threat and QB who refuses to throw the ball more than 10 yards.
  14. And for good measure he had a loaded gun in the car.
  15. Things lined up better for the 0-16 Lions. They did have Calvin Johnson already and there was a clear cut franchise QB available with the #1 pick. They were also lucky enough to get the 2nd pick the next season and St Louis took a QB instead of Suh. I also have to wonder though if the timeline for that 0-16 team would have been accelerated a year if Stafford wasn't injured his 2nd year? He only played 3 games that year and was pretty decent in those 3 games.
  16. I'll also add that COVID was spiking more back in September and California was doing better than most states. The whole point of the recall was over mask mandates.
  17. California used Texas. It almost seemed a referendum on Texas than on Newsome. I'm not sure why Virginia didn't use Texas more. I think Elder also factored in. New Jersey is a blue state, while not as blue as California, and is fighting for it's life against a less offensive Republican.
  18. When the Democrats do run on emotions, they come up with the worst possible slogans such as defund the police.
  19. Another reminder there is no such thing as a Never Trump Republican.
  20. Well sometimes you don't always get what you want. The Bernie or bust people could've sucked it up and put on their big boy pants and voted for Hillary and worked down ballot like the Republicans do. Instead they have their purity contests, lose elections, and get nothing done.
  21. The progressives in the house could have passed the bipartisan infrastructure bill and waited to 2022 and flip senate seats to make Manchin and Sinema irrelevant and push for a larger bill. Instead we got nothing and will lose seats. The Republicans didn't get where they are because of one two year cycle. They have been working towards this since at least the 90's. I'm just so indifferent right now. I don't live in Virginia or plan to ever live there so I don't care anymore if they lose their rights. Go protest, wear a pink hat, and tear down a statue. That will show those fascists.
