If there was a draft to take a gamble on, this would be the one. There is no can't miss player in this draft. There is a realistic chance a safety could be the best player at 2. The Lions still have another 1st round pick and high 2nd round pick to fill holes plus two 1st round picks next year.

I can't wait until the Lions draft Willis and he dominates in training camp and people starting melting down wanting to fire Dan Campbell and Ben Johnson after they don't pull Goff after his first INT.

I feel shameful posting Skip Bayliss here, but he's pretty spot on.

Haven't we learned with Stafford that you can't just plug a franchise QB on a bad team and expect to win? Houston was 4-12 in Watson's last season with possibly more talent than the current Lions roster. It made little sense.

If they can get a 1st for Baker, the Lions damn well better trade Goff for a 1st + because Goff is a better QB.

While you're heaping praise on the Browns, don't forget they traded the pick that was used to draft Watson.

The Browns traded away 3 1st round picks and locked in a guy to a $230 million fully guaranteed contract who missed an entire seasons and has someone questionable off the field behavior.

He will also sign fully guaranteed 5 year $230 million deal.

I read that they heard a pop in the ankle area. Could be an Achilles. If it is an Achilles, he could even fall out of the draft. *Edit* The Achilles is just speculation on my part.
