  1. Another strong draft from Holmes. I like the defensive focus as adding talent there was the biggest need. My wife laughed every time ESPN would show the team needs graphic listing every defensive position group. Nice talent boost in the early rounds and some guys that really have a chance to stick in the later rounds.
  2. Who are you thinking? I can’t see Torts personality working. Quenneville willl be employable again but I don’t think enough time has passed. Claude Julian and Paul Maurice aren’t exciting.
  3. Might as well try to take some flyers on injury guys from here on out.
  4. Love this Joseph pick. Hopefully this means less Will Harris.
  5. I’m going Kerby Joseph at 97
  6. One hit wonder from 4 or 5 years ago. Real popular with the college kids.
  7. If Dean tried to pull a fast one and lie about his injuries then he’s not draftable and you take him off the board.
  8. I’d like a WR. 😀
  9. Just watched his video interview with local media. Q: What are your long term goals after football A: I want to play for as long as I can and then I want to coach. I love ball.
  10. Paschal is a great backup if Lions curse catches up to Hutch and he gets injured and busts. I actually like him a lot and saw him a bunch last season. I found myself betting on Kentucky a lot last year. He was solid against SEC competition. He’s a good all around DE. Dare I say he can hold the edge without giving everyone Trey Flowers bad vibes. Agree with everyone else though about adding another DE here though.
  11. Wonder what Nakobe Dean did last night in Vegas after the draft.
  12. I will be shocked if Dean is still there at 46. and yes if that happened and the Lions took him then I would eat everything that I said earlier in this thread and bow at the feet of Holmes and Bombers
  13. You know how much I’d like that pick.
  14. No way. Your math is way off.
  15. Kwesi is the new Quinn
  16. Nah. In fact it proves my point more. They were always taking a WR. They didn’t find the need to go up and get one in the first round even though they could have.
  17. 2nd round. Completely different. Will be interesting to compare the development of Watson vs. Williams.
  18. You don’t know that
  19. Enough about perceived value of WR being more important than defense. Packers and Chiefs are two franchises that are infinitely better than the Lions. They both had 2 first rounders and probably a bigger need at WR than the Lions. Not only did neither trade up like the Lions for WR but they didn’t even take one at all and ended up using all 4 picks on defense.
  20. As for being juvenile, What else would you expect from someone who has a Vonnagut asshole as my avatar.
  21. Nah. I was trolling MB with that Cephus comment but it’s way more than just the 66th pick. Moving from 34 to 46 is a big move too and I thought Williams was a luxury they didn’t need to take a risk on at that spot.
  22. Chark ran a 4.34. He also has all of his original knee ligaments intact.
