I wonder if Tkachuk is looking at this roster and wondering what he got himself into.

Someone forgot to tell the Saudi’s they don’t have the cards and they will regret this move in two week.

I expect this number to increase dramatically as the playoffs continue. Take the ball out of Cade’s hands and make him exert energy off ball just to get open. Also, force other players to get involved in the offense and hope they are quick to take the first look.

The reporters knew the answer would be something along the lines: ”We’re focused on what we do and what makes us successful. We’re not as concerned as much with individual matchups. We have great leadership in Tobias and Cade and are together playing for each other and that’s what matters.”

This team is so hard for me. I like many of the players and want them to win. I’m excited they are back playing meaningful games again. But the only thing this organization has in common with the one that won the 3 titles is the name and uniform. I hate the coach. He’s so poor in the technical aspect of the game. That’s the most important attribute for a head coach in the playoffs. I don’t hate the GM (yet) but I hate that he did absolutely nothing at the deadline. They had such an advantage being top in the East in a season with damaged contenders. He wasted a huge opportunity. I really hate the owner. He seems like such a self absorbed asshole. Private Equity firms do need to market themselves to the public. The only reason he puts Platinum on the court is because he can’t put Tom Gores. All of those Pistons won again videos they put on social are in front of the individual team murals they have on the hallway leading to the locker room. Of course, Tom has been included as the very first one. The owner is plastered on the wall like he’s the most important player on the team. Is there another owner in the league that does anything like this? I love the Pistons and am big fan of Cade but there’s just no way they can maintain any success with such poor quality at all levels of leadership.

I’m interested to see what kind of adjustments the Cavs make after game 1. We all know what JB’s will be. Also wondering about the status of Sam Merrill. He can be crucial for them as another shooter that can hit wide open 3’s when the defense crashes to help on whoever cooks Duncan.

Cade needs touch the ball and be the first option every time down. There’s too much settling for possessions where his not involved.

We can’t let them continue to take the ball out of Cade’s hand with pressure. That will be a huge problem if it continues throughout the series.

I disagree. I commend them for seeing a rare opportunity and trying to take advantage. This was not a normal year with the injuries in Boston and Indiana. The East was completely wide open. They felt Bane was a missing piece for what they needed but they got tripped up by injury with Wagner missing most of the season and Suggs about a quarter. We saw a little bit of what they could do in the early part of this series. They looked nothing like an 8 seed at full strength. When they put this roster together in the summer, I can understand the front office thinking they could’ve won the East.

Crazy prediction: Duren blows up and goes 25/10 and majorly outplays his Eskimo brother, Carter Jr.

There’s no way they let McDavid bolt. They can’t lose him for nothing. If doesn’t want to come back, they absolutely will trade him. It’s possible he’s already played his last game as an Oiler and will be traded this summer.

Amazing how Jaylen Brown wants the ball in his hands ever time down while Tyrese Maxey gives the ball up as fast as he can like it’s a hot potato. He’s got to be way more assertive for Philly to have any chance down the stretch.

JB finally made changes. He played Duren and Caris less,. He got Reed involved and kept Ausar on the floor when it mattered.

Duren can’t start the 3rd quarter. He probably shouldn’t even play. It’s got to be Stew and Reed the rest of the way. Ausar can’t leave the floor except for a quick breath.
