And so it begins again. LA up a goal with under 7 minutes to go and looking to take a commanding 3-0 lead over the Oilers. Kane scored a scrappy goal around the net that was reviewed for a kick and upheld. Shockingly and completely mystifying, Jim Hiller on the Kings bench challenges for goaltender interference in a 4-4 game on the road in the playoffs!!!! Call quickly upheld leading to an Oiler PP. It took all of 10 seconds for Draisitl to make an amazing pass to set up the GWG. They tack on 2 ENG to make it a 7-4 victory. We’ve all see this story before and the only question now is will it be Oilers in 6 or 7.

The rumor started by a not well respected Lions online guy/wanna be beat reporter, who made the claim simply on the basis that the Lions brought in Matthew Golden for a pre draft visit. He wrote a click bait story and it went wild from there. Also, Sports Illustrated doesn’t exist anymore. The name was purchased and they are an online only site that aggregates click bait from all over the internet as its content.

So many draft experts don’t understand that you don’t need every team in the league to have a consensus on a players value. It only takes one team to feel the same way on a player and you don’t get him. They also throw around the decision to trade back like it’s a ho-hum and you can definitely get the player you wanted later. It’s a massive role of the dice. You can’t just magically drop back and assume that no other team scouted that player the same way. If you covet a player, then you take the player. In general, It’s stupid as hell to trade back if there’s a player you really like on the board. The time it makes sense to trade back is when you have multiple players graded very similar and you are ok with any of them. Cowboys taking Booker, Dolphins taking Grant, Bucs with Egbuka, Bengals with Stewart, and Lions with Williams, are all considered reaches by some but I think they are all solid picks.

Cmon now. He was injured. That’s the reason he didn’t play and it’s why he dropped out of the 1st. If anything slipping into the 2nd affirms his decision to not play hurt.

What the hell is Atlanta doing trading next years first for the 26th pick in this draft. Dumbs dumb dumbs.

This means absolutely nothing. Draft experts are expert at nothing. They are all click bait losers trying to get peoples attention. They have no accountability either. Nobody ever goes back and revisits their picks and draft day grades a few years later to see if they were actually right or just full of it. They just talk out of their ass using “insider” information fed to them by teams which are often wrong on purpose to try and deceive the rest of the league.

**** this guy. He doesn’t understand the pick. I don’t understand some loser that gets caught up in value and reaches when he has no real idea where teams view any of these players. There’s just so many idiots online that trust espn draft boards like they are the absolute truth when in fact they are often very wrong. The Lions don’t have a mid 2nd round pick and I’m certain he was rated much higher on their draft board than that.

There were times at seeing Borat and Tropic Thunder at the theater where my lungs hurt and I had trouble breathing due to laughter. There was an moment during Borat where I really thought I may be having a heart attack.
