Thomas would be a huge, huge move for Stevie. He’s under contract for 5 more years at 8.1M. Thats a significant addition to the future core in midseason and a deviation from the Yzerplan to build the core from within. I think he should try and do it but I’ll be surprised if he does.

Honestly, what purpose did this post serve. He doesn’t want to debate or discuss with you. Nothing you say will resonate with him. He wants exactly the response that you just gave him. He loves that he’s bothered you to the extent that you took the time to reply. He will continue to post incendiary tweets and his own hateful ideas as long as people engage with him. If nobody responds to it then he will eventually get bored and move on to troll libs somewhere else.

The US was the side that got the most flak over their roster decisions and they all turned out to be great. Canada on the other hand probably wishes they had set their defense up differently especially when they lost Josh Morrissey. Definitely a mistake not to include Matthew Schaefer. He’s going to be a core part of their team for the next 3 Olympics and this experience would’ve helped him.

Don’t leave out the Chargers. They could be the favorites if he hits the market. The market setting comment isn’t a big deal. He was getting a market setting contract from someone no matter what happened this offseason.

I’d love to see Gretchen invite the gold medal Michiganders to Lansing for a celebration. We’d find out real quick how much politics weighed in a situation where we’ve been told is not political.

This has more to do with the government leaders than it does Democrats. These used to be respected positions held by highly qualified people. They have all been dumbed down to Trump sycophants. The lack of experience and qualifications has diminished these positions to the point they can’t even be compared to the same in prior administrations.

Reading up on ABS and I didn’t realize they are incorporating a plane in the middle of the plate where the ball must pass. A pitch that just catches the front corner of the plate is not a strike. The ball has to be in the strike zone when 8.5 inches back of the front of the plate. That will be very interesting especially with some of the nasty sweepers and other breaking balls out there .

The trading freeze has been lifted. Let the rumors start back up again. It appears that after the Kevin Fiala injury in Milan, Kenny Holland is back in deal making mode. Robert Thomas or Pettersson are the big targets. I don’t think either can be had without giving up on Quintin Byfield. It will be another major coup for LA if they can make a deal without him as the centerpiece.

That’s going to be a little bit of an issue in Vegas, Carolina, and Florida

9:30 Sunday beers used to be a regular thing as a Lions fan in California. Now I’ve gone full on Roger Murtaugh. Not even a second of thought about finding an open bar this morning.

Canada has to figure out how to get more out of their other lines. USA needs to shoot the puck. This one will be decided in the 3rd. This next 20 will set the stage for it.
