  1. I will grant you that request. Let’s continue the discussion in 2027.
  2. I just read an article on Wyatt Langford and am trying to not get depressed. I really hope that passing on him in favor of Max Clark isn’t something the franchise regrets for the next decade.
  3. Apparently there is some nuance regarding the NBA possession rules. The crew chief said that Thompson still had possession of the ball even though my eye tells me otherwise. I still think no call is the right call but if they are saying by rule that Thompson still has possession, then it’s an obvious foul they missed.
  4. I don’t blame them. I thought the same thing when I first saw it from the other angle. It looks like Ausar’s got the ball and gets destroyed but in reality he lost it and destroys himself running into the Knick who beat him to the loose ball.
  5. Possession is definitely lost. It could even be said a foul on the Pistons should’ve been the call.
  6. Monty is hot but he’s wrong like he’s been with everything else. It was the right call.
  7. Great post. I like the Vegas and StL comparisons but unfortunately they are in the West and that’s a completely different animal come playoffs. It’s so much more difficult having to come out of the East.
  8. If it’s the Ilitch Business School there has to be a way for your son to apply to a state fund who will actually pay him to use the parking pass.
  9. Matt Barnes has always been an easily baited hothead ahole. In this case, I’m not sure what’s the issue. Doesn’t appear to be anything and certainly not something to lose his job over. Maybe Matt Barnes is a hated by all his coworkers and management have been looking for any reason to fire him with cause.
  10. Sacramento seems like such a better fit for the A’s. 80 miles away would also allow them to maintain most of the existing fanbase. No doubt the Sac locals would go as crazy for a baseball team as they do for the Kings.
  11. Defense doesn’t matter at all for 82 games. It’s a pointless exercise to build a team focused on defense but once the postseason starts and you are matched up in a series, guess what, defense becomes supremely important again. This league is in such a ****ed place. The players are so skilled and the talent level is higher than it’s ever been but the game is so flawed. It just doesn’t make much sense.
  12. Assuming that Al saw himself as some sort of expert at International player signing and would never think about trading from that pool.
  13. I’d be very surprised if NIL money wasn’t the main reason.
  14. They have already self punished with multiple coaching suspensions and even a few dismissals I expect there will be a 2 week period in the summer where coaches aren’t allowed to recruit and one weekend where UM can’t host recruits That’s it.
  15. I’m pretty confident that a guy with 25 years in high level scouting and player personnel roles with the Lions before the arrival of Brad Holmes had very little to do with the talent turnaround here. Then again what does a schmo like me know. Maybe his genius took a while to emerge. Greatness can come at any time, even after 27 years on the job. He was highly recommended to the Commanders from NFL front office legend Martin Mayhew. I also wouldn't be surprised if Matt Millen himself didn’t call in a recommendation to his old team on Lance’s behalf.
  16. I agree and I disagree. OL is the engine of this teams success. They need to keep feeding it. Yes, if they mess it up, they **** up the Super Bowl chances. Jonah Jackson is very average. He had a good year in 2021 and hasn’t been at that level since. I also don’t think he’s that tough. Ragnow will play through anything and Jackson will sit at almost anything. Let’s let someone else pay him. His production should not be hard for Brad to replace and improve on.
  17. I know they say honesty is the best policy but some things are better left unsaid
  18. It’s a good thing the communities of Jackson, Northville Township, Southgate, and Walled Lake didn’t choose to support, aid, and harbor one of world’s deadliest terrorist organizations.
  19. Smart to not waste time as Jeremy Allen White seems poised to be the next big thing and will move past starring on the show.
  20. There can only be one name.
  21. They are great to have if you’re contending team at the trade deadline and are on the phone with Troy Weaver.
  22. I’d love to give Bosa a try for the next 2 years. They could get creative with the coming Goff and ASB extensions and backload the money to be able to afford Bosa’s $28m without much of an issue.
  23. I’m not sure USC wouldn’t have come without fUCLA (you guys need to learn this now since they are in conference) but the logistics of playing any sport other than football probably wouldn’t work out.
