The rule change allowing CHL players to play in the NCAA prior to being drafted will have a massive impact on the draft moving forward. The #1 prospect for next year, Gavin McKenna, has committed to Penn State for a whopping $700k beating out longtime favorite, MSU, who apparently offered $200-$300k. Amateur hockey is gone and big money has officially entered the NHL draft world.

It would take me less than 1 second to make that trade straight up.

I think the rebirth of Jo Adell is definitely all star worthy. His WAR is full point less than Julio despite 8 more HRs, 9 more RBI, and almost 180 points better in OPS. He’s only 3/3 on stolen bases but that can’t be that big of difference, correct?

What’s boosting the WAR of his stats? 247/306/349 with 11HR and 43 RBI. That 655 OPS is horrendous. He’s stolen 15 bags on 83% efficiency but I thought that was weighted much less.

In what world is Julio Rodriguez an all star reserve? That’s insane. He’s not even the best candidate from his own team as Randy Arozarena has better numbers in every category.

Is Casey Mize going to be an All-Star?

I would very surprised if the A’s ever up in Vegas. Salt Lake seems more likely at this point.

As with anything Bradley Beal, there’s no defense with it.

It’s been many years since I’ve been a regular poker player but heads up was always my favorite. Thr frenzied pace of play, larger range of playable hands, and constantly adjusting aggression or passiveness based on stack size.

The onboard is truly incredible. You can hear how much of it is in full throttle. There were an even a few points where he could even improve. He’s an incredible talent. I’d love to see him take on the ultimate challenge in all of F1…drive the other Red Bull car. 😂

I would love to know more on the decision to not refer to themselves as the Sacramento A’s in the interim. Is this an MLB mandate based on something in their rules or is it 100% Fisher’s call? Either way it’s a huge mistake. Sac could have been a very viable backup option if Vegas get too costly had he not screwed the fans over. It’s a small market but there’s quite a bit of wealth and more than enough sports starved fans to fill seats. It’s also close enough to Oakland to keep many of their core fans. He would’ve made a ton of money on merchandise and local sponsors had he changed the name from the get go. Instead, he’s got ads from Las Vegas tourism board on the wall of the power alleys as another slap in the face of Sacramento. His best move may be to flip and embrace Sacramento by changing the name and see if he can make it a permanent home. Maybe Vivek can buy in and give Fisher an influx of cash.

You’ve got to get with the times. You can’t just say all murder and child rape is bad anymore. It needs to be qualified. If you are an illegal immigrant there should be no expectation of protection from either of these crimes. You have no rights here and and it probably should no longer be a crime if you are murdered or child raped. This is the new America and everyone is no longer equal under the law.
