A team focused more on building for the future rather than trying to take advantage of a great season and win it now. It’s the same issue with every other team in this city.
-
By every account it was available. He’s under contract for 2 years and would’ve been a huge lift to turn the team into a real cup contender. As for failing to sign him, he’s a cornerstone player that wanted to be in Detroit. They wouldn’t have let him walk. Even if crazy things happened and he left in 27-28, they would’ve had 2 strong seasons to take a real shot at getting to the final again.

None of the above. Would’ve been a tough move to give up on a really good young defensemen that’s only getting better but the return was arguably the best blue liner in the league. Hughes has put up 25 points in 21 games, has 4 games with 3+ assists, and leads the NHL in ice time since coming to the Wild.

Give it two weeks…

I hope that I’m wrong but the decision to choose Edvinssson over Quinn Hughes may go down as one of Stevie’s all time worst decisions.

I have almost the opposite pet peeve. The extension cord on the Costco gas pump is one of the best inventions of recent times. I hate people that wait in line instead of taking the open space and pulling across. Not a fan of the people scared of the middle lane gap between cars either. All of it will be moot soon as they’ve be redoing all of the local stores into 50 bay monsters with wide lanes to make it so there’s never much a wait.

Great article. I hope that the heavy use of 13 personnel had to do with injuries instead of overall philosophy. That would be concerning if he wanted to run that much 13 here. This roster is built on 3 very good WR. They need to be doing more with ASB, Jamo, and Teslaa, and not more with Brock Wright and a yet undetermined 3rd TE.

Check back in two weeks

Caris needs to be injured for this current roster to make it past the ECF. JB’s absolute love affair with him is disrupting all of the rotations. -
I feel so bad for this kid that Raiders are going to ruin his NFL career.

Watched Bugonia last week. I went in completely blind. All I knew going in was Jesse Plemmons was in it. I had no clue that it was going to be nominated for best picture. I’m still thinking about this movie a week later. Emma Stone is amazing and definitely worth a watch just for her performance. I think it will start to get more buzz as people go out and see it now that it’s been nominated.

The white accent is ok but that’s way too much white for a Ferrari. Seeing the front wing move on the active aero really brings it home for me how different things are going to be. This is a completely different car that will bring about a whole new type of racing. Smaller cars, better aero into corners, push to pass. I’m more excited than I’ve been in years to see how this season plays out. As much as things change, Williams is still going to Williams. Honestly, wouldn’t shock me to see them find multiple podiums. It’s that wide open.

I’ve seen 3 Corvettes on the road the last 2 days. This is not an all season vehicle. If you don’t have another car for winter then you shouldn’t buy a Vette.

It will be in the health care plan.

I don’t know if I like 18 games as well as more internationals. I do know that both are inevitable and will be happening in the future May as well rip the band-aid off and start it sooner rather than later.

I would’ve liked better but I'm not unhappy with this move. He’s been a play caller before and has some pedigree getting a run game going. He had them scoring points with Jacoby Briseett, Bam Knight, and Michael Wilson as offensive weapons.

Typical of Charlie Baker speaking on a topic that he has no real concept of. If the NCAA spent even 2 seconds looking at the main advisors for Kalshi and who is on the board of Polymarket, they’d quickly realize how ridiculous the request was for federal intervention.

ND should be pushing Freeman out the door. It’s only a matter of time before he kills a kid. Freeman himself should want the Steelers. Perfect timing to leave ND since they are now the 2nd tier bitch program in state to IU. They can’t compete in NIL or on the field. -

The battle between TV and coaching should be interesting for Tomlin. He will get 8 figure offers from both. -

The worst job out there is the Falcons because they have the wrong guy at QB but the franchise doesn’t know it. Anyone coming in is tied to Penix, whose got terrible mechanics, questionable decision making, and an already damaged body. They have high expectations and a quick timetable but aren’t going anywhere with Penix. 2 and out for anyone that takes that job. -

He is one of the worst game day coaches that I’ve ever seen. -

I’ve never viewed a Chiropractor as a doctor. It’s always been more of a physical therapy thing for me. A good Chiropractor can be a god send for back and neck issues. I’ve had situations where I could barely move and thought I’d really done damage only to be just like normal after two sessions. The key is that you have to know how to handle them. It’s sort of like buying a car at the dealership. Do buy into all the other BS. They will all get super deep into alternative methods to treat everything. Don’t do it. Just go to alleviate what pains you at that moment. They will all preach on the benefits of coming twice a week for a 3 months after the pain stops to build strength. Don’t do it. Solve the pain and move on.
