  1. The sad reality of humanity is that even in a paradise with perfect weather, it doesn’t take long to get used it and start complaining when it gets down to 65 with a little wind.
  2. Agree they need another TE and one that can block. I dont see a need to go after one that high. I like Deese or Ferguson in the 5th or 6th.
  3. Too big of a risk for me in based on those track conditions. I would’ve said the same thing had RB crashed. The poker analogy makes sense but curious if and how your strategy would change if you were playing in a 10 person game with only 22 hands allowed. How aggressive would you be fighting for small pots in hand 5 as the 2nd highest stack?
  4. That ending was the baseball version of a bag of dicks.
  5. I think everyone in this draft has some type of on field red flag. The brand issue may be valid for the moment but the reality is that with the new NIL stuff at the college level this is going to become the norm for top players. I personally view his interest in marketing as a positive. He’s very serious about being a big brand with staying power and he realizes that can only happen if he’s a stud on the field. He gets that has to be the foundation or none of the other stuff will matter.
  6. What are his off field red flags?
  7. Adam with some deep insider info. Lol
  8. I can’t see any scenario where they trade him to the Packers. AFC Jets and their buddy Salah seem like their best option.
  9. What a perfect weekend for RB and a disaster for Ferrari. They cost themselves 10 points by taking a risk for a single point. Stupido. Hopefully this is a one off and not the return of the strategy that we saw in the past from Binotto and Co. Another disaster was the sky sports coverage. Too much of Lewis unable to pass in a battle for 13th and not enough of better battles higher up. Also hated cutting away from the live shots of Sainz and Leclerc spins to show crowd and pit reactions while the action was still going on. That’s what replays are for. I don’t get that at all.
  10. I watched for about a half and it was painfully bad football on both sides. Not sure how Shea Patterson was deemed to be the #1 overall QB of this league. He doesn’t have a good arm and every ball he threw lacked any pace. If this is the quality of football from the rest of the games then this league is doomed.
  11. I missed FP2 and I’m confused at what just happened. Merc has been dead in the water and now just found pace? Doesn’t seem right. I guess we will find out in 15 minutes
  12. I agree with what you are a saying. I’m just not sure he’s that athletic. He’s got a good frame but is very clunky and lacks fluidity on offense. I see his only real value on defense.
  13. Koloko is a nice player that was unfortunately born about 15 years too late to have much draft value.
  14. Same. Some of my earliest sports memories are watching the late 70’s Canadians and Leafs teams on HNiC on channel 9. Mesmerized by Guy Lafleur’s hair and Borje Salming’s name
  15. Parents and Grandparents are the lifesavers in this one. Most are still cable dependent and have never even downloaded the Bally mobile app. Get their online login for their cable account (you may have to set it up for them) and enter it in to your Bally app on phone and tv. Voila. You are in business. Don’t need to be on their network or specific cable company Wi-Fi. Doesn’t cost them anything since this a free service they never knew existed.
  16. Amazing that the 2017 Ole Miss team had Shea Patterson, DK, AJ, Van Jefferson, Dawson Knox and went 6-6. The next year Jordan Te’aamu took the QB job and Jefferson transferred to Florida and they went 6-7.
  17. They made a fake mini lake where they will anchor 5 boats (and charge $10k a pop to watch from on board).
  18. MLB Network did last night
  19. I would give up both 32 & 34. I see him as the next great WR in the league and would take the offense to a different level. It would also give them options next year if they need to lure a potential FA QB. if we are getting really spacey then I’d also look to trade #2 and both next years #1 for Kyler Murray. Imagine this OL in front of Murray, Swift, Deebo, AmonRa, and Hock and having them all controlled for the next 3+ years (less Hock). Let Brad fill the defense through FA and later round draft picks where he excelled in LA.
  20. Forgot to add, I’d much rather pay $25M to take advantage of Deebo Samuel’s prime production years than a situation like the Ralders paying Devante Adams for what he did during his prime with the Packers.
  21. I don’t think it goes against the plan. It just speeds it up. They we’re going to spend on big FA either next year or the following once they felt comfortable with a foundation of core players. When unforeseen opportunities arise sometimes you need to alter the timeline of the plan. They don’t need Deebo to play RB so that should be a non-issue. He can be very useful as an RB in a package but 95% of his time should be at WR.
  22. I hadn’t heard that and I’m not sure I believe it. He wants to get paid like a top 5 WR right now doesn’t want to wait another year.
  23. Sign me up for Deebo. He was 1st team all pro last year and is just entering his prime. It would cost both 32 & 34 and a huge salary. I’d like they would paying a premium based on what he’s going to do for the Lions instead of what usually happens when a star player hits the market and gets paid based on what they did in the past and production inevitably declines. Can you imagine the versatility with Deebo, Swift, Amon Ra. That’s some serious RAC potential and big problems for a defense.
