I don't see anything about a minor league salary option like Manuel Margot signed last year. They have to pay $7 million and I think he would have to agree to go to the minors (Maeda did for rehab). Just because they want him to start doesn't mean he can't be put in the bullpen. The option could be interesting in 2027 with a few starters as potential free agents.

Anderson's signing makes me concerned about Olson's health, especially if they are looking to add more starters. Olson does have options if they plan to be careful with him.
