Quite a day for Meadows. It's good to see Kreidler back at AAA. I miss his defense at third.

Probably go after Boyd and Lorenzen types again. Too bad Boyd was injured because he might have brought back young talent at the deadline. I am happy with the return for Lorenzen and he seemed really happy with his time with the Tigers.

So the article makes Erod and his agent the villains and makes Harris look like the victim. Isn't that kind of suspicious? I wonder who the source could be....

Rogers is a young MLB catcher and a pretty good one too. I know he doesn't have the fancy OBP that Harris salivates for but he's right up there in war with some of the best catchers in the game this year. He is 9th in WAR according to Fangraphs. I think there are some other positions that need addressing first before gambling on a prospect being better than Rogers.

I don't see the point of trading Rogers. He's the second best player on the team IMO. Still under control for years. Great defense. Teammates love him. I don't get it.

He's only at A+ though. Why move Sands to AA? We must have been getting a AAA catcher to replace Sands and Faedo would have replaced Erod in the rotation today.

Hunter Feduccia #30 prospect lefty hitting catcher with a .413 OBP at AAA would be my guess just for fun.

The offseason is going to be his next big test and after the trade deadline I'm not sure he's going to get a passing grade. He said from the beginning he would hire a GM. I think he should do that now. Two heads are better than one.

We're all going to wish he was traded when he has shoulder discomfort next month. Isn't Harris' strategy just Moneyball? Look, a guy with a high OBP! What position does he play? None. We'll take him!

It's definitely on Harris, but I do think it's in bad taste for LA to reveal the deal. They want to make themselves look good by making Harris look bad but it also makes it seem like the player is the bad guy. Maybe that's one of the reasons Erod doesn't want to go there. They will throw people under the bus to make themselves look good. I used to have a boss like that and of course he got promoted by blaming things on everyone else. Not very professional on LA's part.

I think he will opt out and we will get nothing but we can let everyone choose a potential outcome and whoever is right can pat themselves on the back on multiple threads all next year.
