Tork is just a kid. We've seen he can be a hot head. We've seen he has a good eye but the umpire doesn't always make the right calls. He's going to have to make adjustments just like every other major leaguer in history. He was always the best guy on the field and now he's not. He needs to mature, lose the temper and recognize the umps call the balls and strikes. He has to focus on doing damage on pitches he's supposed to crush and have a short memory about the rest. I think he'll be fine. He was really impressive in the field at times. He's only 22, he'll figure it out.

They did let both of them get away when they should have extended them. Their decision making is definitely suspect.

The position players have been horrendous all year so everyone should be frustrated.

Sad but true: OF: Greene, Baddoo, Meadows SS: Baerz 1B: Tork 2B: Schoop finale 3B: Candy finale Catchers: Rogers and Haase Starters: ERod, Skubal, Turnbull, whoever is healthy I guess the good news is we could get whatever the best bat is available because none of these guys are written in stone at those positions.

Baddoo

Hopefully things get better after the trade deadline. After that, there's no reason to keep Grossman on the roster. Possibly Candelario and Barnhart as well.

Hinch's handling of Baddoo has been awful. Yes he's struggling but Grossman and Castro are most definitely not the answer. Baddoo could be the answer, so you give him all the playing time. They gave Torkelson all the playing time, why not Baddoo?

We're the only ones watching this train wreck.

They need a third baseman who will stay out of Baez' way. Candelario has jumped in front of Baez so many times and messed up the play.

Embarrassing but pretty much the 2022 Tigers on display. First game back, 7-2 solid performance gets the win. Next two games, complete stinkers.

Baseball isn't the most important thing in life so they will probably be understanding and welcome him back.
