The Lions have a lot of young talent on this team; however, they are still the Lions -- a franchise that has little experience or success realizing its potential over the years. Should they really be the division favorites? I'm not so sure. Their draft process was flawed. WR Jameson Williams is suspended the first six games of the season. I will not be betting into the narrative that this team is the best in the division. -- Fulghum

the red wings didnt "tear it down." they just sucked. the blackhawks traded everything that wasnt nailed down, the wings had nothing to trade because that's how horrible kenny left the team. the hawks could have been as good as the wings this year. they had decent players. but they traded ALL of them in an attempt to lose. the wings didnt do that.

give the blackhawks credit. they tore it down and got rewarded for it. the wings went the opposite way and got the #9 pick and are in purgatory we'll see which method works out in the long run.
