  1. the injury concerns for zion were because his own personal chef is burger king.
  2. long term health. he's very tall and the wear and tear on those guys for a long nba season can be very high.
  3. if it get thems victor, its all been worth it. if not, the misery will continue.
  4. red wings have become the pistons. hoping for the 8th seed, winning meaningless games late in the season to kill draft position.
  5. if manning loses his job to a 31 year old journeyman starter, there are real problems with this franchise.
  6. hooker might be as old as kirk cousins by the time that 5th year kicks in...
  7. its the "you can post" button. crazy cat and its weirdly specific knowledge of IT.
  8. raises the question again of whether last off season was the time to spend on glue guy free agents.
  9. and he traded multiple assets to get those picks. including a future first round pick. at best, wiseman ends up being a long term starter so you get something for bey and all the assets you traded to get him, killian ends up a decent backup point guard, and stewart is a solid role player off the bench. unless wiseman can capture some of his hype and become a good player, that draft was a real bust. conversely, last year's draft of ivey and duren looks like a hit. i dont see much from livers, honestly. and cade looked like a superstar some games and a miss in others. i think he'll come good but im worried about his health. and again, i get the rebuild and they are doing what they have to do to get the best odds for the #1 pick, but this is THE worst or second worst season in franchise history. lets not lose sight of just how bad this team is. if theyre at least moderately healthy and not in the play in next year, weaver might be in trouble.
  10. i get it, but then why sign bagley to a fairly big contract? the only upside for bagley is if his money is used as a throw in to get a better player. otoh, who is going to want marvin bagley on a deal more than one year long? well, other than troy weaver.
  11. were not complaining that they entered a rebuild, we are complaining about how he is managing the rebuild. at least that's what im complaining about.
  12. both had the same top 5: stroud, young, richardson/anderson, carter.
  13. jordan reid's mock: wilson banks keanu benton hendon hooker braeden daniels much more likely than mcshay's, imo. addresses dline, corner, iol, and qb. takes the bpa at #6 in wilson and then takes players at positions the lions have depth needs after this season.
  14. mcshay's latest mock: wilson bijan jack campbell sam laporta i dont think they'll go the first two rounds without taking a either a corner or a defensive tackle.
  15. "you deserve to relive the best piston tradition of having too many centers in a league that has moved to small, postionless basketball. that's why i, troy weaver, traded for james wiseman, marvin bagley III, and isaiah stewart. i promise that i will bring back the time honored tradition of the late joe dumars era. in wiseman, i believe we finally found our josh smith."
  16. lombardi looks like he could be a player. just like mazur.
  17. bunting must chirp a lot because walman went after him too amd the refs sent them both off. i have a feeling the refs dont like the stuff bunting pulls on the ice and target him a bit because they know he's instigating shit.
  18. that's a fair opinion. i dont agree, but i dont really know if there is fire behind that smoke. there very well could be and if they think they cant rehabilitate him or get him to work, then i'm comfortable they will pass on him.
  19. god dammit! that's it! im putting you on ignore! (how was that?)
  20. you seem to think you know a lot about carter fromnwhat youve posted. but, like you say, nobody knows nothin. i assume holmes will do jis homework and if there are big issues he'll pass. them bringing him in for an interview would be an important step, i assume. doing due diligence is important and theyre doing that.
  21. liar. you would miss me. 😀
  22. youre gonna be bitching about this all season, arent you?
  23. 1) carter (best player available at the most important position of need) 2) anderson (would affect hutch's productivity but if anderson is von miller-lite, you do it and figure out the fit later) 3) qb (best chance - hopefully - to get a long term solution) 4) gonzalez (best athlete at an important position with long term needs)
  24. so we go from a 6% chance to a 0% chance. hooray.
