  1. were going to spend all our cap space on draymond and dillon brooks, arent we?
  2. spo is not an old man. i wonder if there is some succession plan whereby he moves up to the front office at some point? if not, quinn would probably be wise to cash in.
  3. i think his parents did him no favors.
  4. i can jump over the pierre south dakota phone book. anything larger than that i have trouble with.
  5. this wont be the last of those...
  6. cause its rigged!!!!
  7. wings pick plus bruins pick plus edvinsson to winnipeg for connor. islanders pick plus a second this year to ottawa for debrincat. sign severson. boom! 7th seed! whoo hoo!
  8. pronman has the wings taking ryan leonard, rw usmnt. who is he? not bedard. i could see them trade this pick for a proven player. i'll bring up conner again because of all the rumors about winnipeg tearing it down. it'll cost this year's pick, one of next year's pick plus some prospects.
  9. the red wings didnt "tear it down." they just sucked. the blackhawks traded everything that wasnt nailed down, the wings had nothing to trade because that's how horrible kenny left the team. the hawks could have been as good as the wings this year. they had decent players. but they traded ALL of them in an attempt to lose. the wings didnt do that.
  10. wait til the bulls get wembanyama.
  11. give the blackhawks credit. they tore it down and got rewarded for it. the wings went the opposite way and got the #9 pick and are in purgatory we'll see which method works out in the long run.
  12. typical nhl.
  13. yup. but we know the pistons will pick 5th and the wings 11th... 😞
  14. sure, but the saints arent going to be that good. they'll lose some of those road games just because theyre on the road. they'll lose some of those home games because theyre playing better teams. 9-8 or 8-9.
  15. we'll take matthews and marner.
  16. sam vecenie: We haven’t had a prospect like Wembanyama in a while, a 7-foot-4 potential superstar who can create his own shot off the bounce in transition, out of isolation, out of mid-post sets and as a dynamic pick-and-roll threat. He’s also an elite shot blocker who led EuroLeague in that category last year as an 18-year-old — a ridiculous accomplishment. Barring some sort of injury-concern-based question in the pre-draft process, he will be the No. 1 pick. *** almost 50% from the field and almost 85% from the line. dude can shoot. he's a very athletic 7 footer with a smooth shot that looks good. the fact that he can shoot free throws at a high percentage shows he can shoot. anyone who watches him can see he has a very good stroke. del is being del. wembanyama is the best prospect since lebron. to compare him to porzingis is to not watch them play. they are very different players. the concern with wembanyama is the concern with all big men: the wear and tear on his feet. will he be able to survive an 82 game nba season? that said, giannis has done it. but he cant shoot 3 pointers so del thinks he's overrated too.
  17. he is not a "cant miss" prospect. he is the best prospect in this draft and the best prospect to come along in a while.
  18. he's being a contrarian as usual.
  19. the only way he gets a starting job is if someone gets hurt in training camp.
  20. marc stein reporting the pistons are very interested in dillon brooks.
  21. bridgewater would be better.
  22. there's a blast from the past.
