Missed this, hope they're back soon

Maybe I'm just a hater but I feel like people like Jarmo for no reason. Bergevin stinks and I don't think Jarmo's tenure in Columbus was that impressive so I don't imagine this new Buffalo direction is going to go well, but what do I know.

A little odd timing since Kasper seemed to play well yesterday, but he hasn't been great. Wings up 2-1, Raymond had a nice pp snipe and it looked like maybe a Leonard tip on the second one

Hell of a shot

Oh definitely, he just didn't think the game well enough to effectively use his speed in my opinion. Plus he always seemed on the lazier side but it could have just been him trying to process the game.

It's a real shame Otto Kivenmaki had that wild head injury, I thought they had found something there. But ya....with hindsight that draft was absolutely awful woof. Zadina didn't have the brains or speed for the NHL. Joe Veleno has no brains. McIsaac got hurt then was out of the equation. I guess Regula is with the Oilers now... Gross.

Maybe a fresh start does him some good, I don't think the Wings will miss him much

The AHL's leading scorer gets a call up, let's see if he is more than just a AAAA player I wasn't sure if they would thinking they might want to keep the GR chemistry going:

They've explicitly talked about it multiple times and the Vancouver GM straight up came out and said it earlier this season. Here's one quote I found in quick google: "Honestly, I'm not afraid to say it. Eventually I'd love to play with him. And whether that's in New Jersey or at what time that takes, at some point, I want to play with Quinn," he said, via The Athletic. "But yeah, that's the question going around. They talk all day about it up in Vancouver, you know? But yeah, I'd love to play with Quinn at some point."

Not if I'm losing Edvinsson, that would always be a dealbreaker for me with the impossibility of an extension for Hughes. Even with an extension I'm not sure I would.

I am not shocked that the Canucks took that deal. Buium seems to be a real good get. I'm a little shocked the Wild made that deal. They must think Kaprizov + Hughes will be able to provide enough offense and that Wallstedt is for real. Because right now they have Vlad Tarasenko and Danila Yurov on their top line. I wouldn't be shocked if the Wild trade Hughes in the offseason or next season. I just don't see that roster having enough success that Quinn forgoes going to New Jersey for it.

I thought of you as soon as I saw the tweet so I figured I had to throw it in here!

In my mind, not really. He's older, more expensive, has a longer contract and Jarry has been really bad in the playoffs. Giving up Kulak to do this also is odd to me because Alec Regula is now projected to play on their second pairing haha. But I guess if you think mixing it up by removing Skinner and adding Jarry is the only way to try something I guess you can see SOME logic. It's just bad logic. Jarry passed through waivers last season so it isn't like he's some sought after commodity

Well at least we don't have Stan Bowman as our GM, this guy sucks
