I trust that the team knows what they are doing with their budget a lot more than I do. If they have a high payroll, I assume that means they are going to maintain the high payroll in the future. If they sign Yamamoto (and I know there is little chance of that happening), I would assume that means they are going to be a high budget team which would be a good thing. I wouldn't assume that Harris was an idiot who made a stupid signing which is going to damage their future. Even if they sign a couple of Lorenzon level players to shorter contracts, I would take that as a sign that their budget is not tight. Again, I would view that as a positive.
