I passed the I-94 DETROIT sign today... It wasn't as bad as it looked in pictures.

I looked it up, it'll be a decal on the helmet. One step closer to not referencing him at all, and at least when I purchase a jersey it won't be defaced with the initials. I really hated that if you can't tell.

I'm thinking of getting ASB in white, Hutch in black, and Goff in blue... If Jamo switches to #1 I may consider him in blue or black too. I would bet that for all the strong feelings about it in both directions, the black will be the best selling of the three.

Contrary opinion but I'm okay with a black jersey alternate. I think something like the model below, without the WCF, looks great as a once-a-season MNF look. I agree that the old black uniforms looked bad.

They tried to get me to buy uniform reveal party tickets for $10. I finally reached my limit on money I will throw at this organization.

I thought about going tonight which is why I was looking. But I can't justify $90 after fees on nosebleed seats to get in the door, when I know I'll spend at least another $30 in the building on beer. And that's for second-market tickets. Available tickets directly from the Wings are even more, which is why they'll go unsold. It seems like there is an economic fault in their model, but I'm not smart enough to know for sure. I'd rather go to the local watering hole, spend less than half that, have a better view of the game, and be able to leave if it goes south.... and so I will.

A strong sign that ticket prices need to be lowered is that the game tonight is not sold out as of this post.

I hate the pizza prop. The fact that good things happen before I see it hasn't helped.

Coyotes to Salt Lake City. I feel bad for the fanbase, those playoff white outs (where a ton of Wings fans would show up) back in the day were killer atmospheres. But they needed to get the hell out of that college arena. It's an embarrassment to the league.
