  1. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say the Panthers aren’t very good.
  2. Maybe if everyone who calls him Jamo says Jaymo, and everyone who calls him Jaymo starts using Jamo……..
  3. 14-0, keep the pedal on it’s still the NFL
  4. Any updates on TV regarding this injury? No idea here just saw a Panther down.
  5. I don’t see Hutch out there. He took a hard hit on the tackle. Hope he’s ok.
  6. You can decline the yardage of any penalty.
  7. I don’t get the challenge and I don’t get why you decline the DOG but accept the false start. Whatevs. Go get 6.
  8. The perks of finishing in last place.
  9. They might make the calculated risk to hold them out. If Montgomery and the pass rush do what they should, you really shouldn’t need either of them to beat a bottom-three team in the NFL.
  10. I agree, I just mean that if the McCaskeys wanted to hire Jim Harbaugh, they would have done it already. I won’t go so far as to say no NFL team will ever hire Jim Harbaugh, but I do think it would have to be the perfect fit of a regime change where the ownership was okay taking a risk and either hiring a pacifist of a GM (or a friend of Jim’s) to work with Jim, or hiring Jim in a Belichick-like role as GM/HC. It’s clear he’s blacklisted by a number of management teams. He’s a winning coach everywhere he goes, he obviously wants a job, but teams won’t even interview him, sans the Vikings and that was a total disaster. The Commanders and Patriots are the only two who I think might fit the bill this coming off-season. Maybe the Chargers.
  11. If Harbaugh was going to the Bears I think he'd already be there (or have been there). I'm not sure where he ends up (if anyone in the NFL ever takes him), but I don't think it will ever be the Bears.
  12. Per Michigan High School seven-official mechanics (I don't know NFL but I believe it is the same despite them having eight officials), the Back Judge (center of field deep defensive backfield) is responsible for the play clock, while the Side Judge (first half visiting side of field deep defensive backfield) is responsible for the game clock. Philosophically, there is a difference. The play clock is given that extra 'beat', the game clock is not. Practically, as has been mentioned, you can't be looking at the ball and the clock at the same time. Depending on the location of the clock though, you should be able to see the clock hit zero and have the offensive players in your periphery. If there hasn't been mass movement in the periphery when you see 0:00, I would think that's probably enough to shut it down. I also feel like this is reviewable. Haven't we seen 4th quarter plays where the team is rushing to spike the ball and it's super close as to whether one second should be left, and that gets reviewed? Maybe I'm imagining it. I don't know why the 4th quarter should be different than the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd though in this regard. Unless they would claim the difference is that one is "whether the incomplete pass was completed with one second on the clock" and the other is "whether there was no time on the clock", though the latter is certainly easier to adjudge.
  13. I think if Urban returns to college football it's after Day loses to Michigan again and has nothing to do with Michigan State.
  14. It’s worth mentioning that Witherspoon is also the corner that the Lions burned with a flea flicker in his debut. I’m not willing to award him ROTY yet.
  15. did we just get the invite to the cool kids’ table? Just act cool. Just act cool.
  16. I don’t think he looked like ****. He had a nice catch in the corner of the end zone for a two-point conversion and a really bad drop that should have been six. There were up and down reports from camp of him having bad days preceded by really good days. Consistent with him figuring it out with bumps in the road. That said, I agree. I don’t need him to be JaMarr Chase and I don’t think those are even fair expectations. I just want him to contribute. At the end of the day, I don’t care if you have 53 first-round picks or 53 undrafted free agents. Just contribute and win. In JaMo’s case, contributing might be being the Mike Williams (LAC) for the Lions offense. As much of a deep threat as a deep weapon. If he only gets two targets in a game but his deep routes are opening up ASB and LaPorta for huge games, that’s great.
  17. I think this is right. He was coming off a serious injury onto a team that was in a playoff push. The next two months will tell us more about Jamo than the last 18 months have.
  18. Happy to do it. Sorry for the delay on this one, was at a wedding out of state and didn't anticipate not having cell or internet reception to post it.
  19. He posted a picture or video on Instagram of himself lighting a firework at like 1am the night of July 4th. https://www.si.com/nfl/lions/news/jameson-williams-lights-fireworks

  21. It’s been four games. I’m not really evaluating any of them, let alone against each other. All I’ll say is that I’m not disappointed in any of our first four picks so far.
  22. You can’t complain with tha results though. Clearly the guys they’re drafting can perform, for whatever reason they’re drafting them.
