  1. I mean, I do believe that Brian Kelly would leave LSU for the Michigan job, if offered.... They ain't calling him, and if he calls them he's not getting past Warde's secretary. If he's looking to return to the midwest though, I hear Chippewa Valley has an opening. No scissor lifts in the budget though.
  2. Two weeks of stress-free December/January football where we aren't thinking about draft position?
  3. I really think they chose not to re-sign Prater because he figured by the time we get to this point, the NFC North Champ and a playoff team, someone off the street would have emerged as an NFL kicker. And that just hasn’t happened. I don’t agree with drafting a kicker in the 3rd round, especially when you are a good drafter, because you can find players like Travis Kelce, Tyler Lockett, and Cooper Kupp in the 3rd round (or Alim McNeill, Iffy Melifonwu, and Kerby Joseph). You should find a starter in the 3rd round, and that’s more valuable than a kicker. But - you can PAY for one! Prater, Zuerlein, and McManus were all free agents this past offseason and all could have been had. And all would have been better than running it back with Badgley and Patterson. If you’re a good drafter it should mean you can afford to pay a kicker a few million dollars, because your young talent isn’t getting big contracts yet.
  4. What’s Jason Hanson doing? Let’s sign him and assemble a Lions All-Time All Star team* for the playoff run, except it’s just the 2023 Lions plus Jason Hanson. *must not have unexpectedly retired to qualify
  5. People calling that a “ref safety” like it didn’t start because Lamar ran 25 yards backwards.
  6. The reason they’re the Broncos is because they don’t know the real “DAN CAMPBELL” audible is to a run on 4th and 5.
  7. If they didn’t run it on 2nd down so much they’d beat SF.
  8. I really think they thought Mahomes could carry the offense by himself. So they decided to invest pretty much all of their cap (sans Mahomes) to the defense. It won them a Super Bowl last year, but I don’t think it’s sustainable.
  9. They’ve gotten very lucky that the kicking ineptitude of this team hasn’t cost them a game this year. I hope it doesn’t come in the playoffs.
  10. I never saw a replay, whose fault was the blocked kick yesterday?
  11. Gotta say. Watching the Chiefs get embarrassed on national television against the Raiders with an interim coach. Not bad.
  12. I hope Kirk goes somewhere else this offseason so I can like him.
  13. The TJ Hockenson character arc in relation to the Lions is a fascinating one.
  14. That's a hell of a production. Call me crazy, call me greedy, but I want more. I hope they go shock the world.
  15. The defense did a really good job today. For all the concerns about Glenn, they have done a superb job the last two weeks. Now if we can just limit an opponent's first play from scrimmage to less than 30 yards, that would be great.
  16. He did. It stood until 2002 when Marvin Harrison shattered it with 143. It's been broken several times since. If ASB hit 124 it would still be good for 10th all time though, assuming neither CeeDee Lamb or Tyreek Hill surpass him too.
  17. With 18 receptions over the next two weeks, ASB would set the franchise record for receptions in a season (with an extra game to get it).

  19. That ain’t good. If he’s a senior, he’ll be lucky not to get charged. If he’s not, he’ll be lucky to play another snap of collegiate football.
  20. This is Kerby. It’s funny because we won.
  21. If we are removing Saleh from the hot seat I think McCarthy can replace him. Anything short of an NFCCG appearance and I think he’s sweating on the following Monday.
