I don’t understand why we played starters today. I didn’t want to question Campbell, but it made no sense. The backups had a decent chance to beat Minnesota anyway. It’s unacceptable.

Especially with no Brock Wright. We have practically no healthy tight end.

If he’s out long term it lies at the feet of Campbell. The 5% chance at one extra home game wasn’t worth losing our second best receiver.

The pregame ceremony wasn’t much, just a video and spot lighting the banner to a standing ovation. They did set off two small fireworks though, which is a first that I’ve ever seen in Ford Field.

I think the first playoff game at Ford Field is a decent storyline in and of itself. They could push the “Stafford’s Return” story through the week on ESPN too.
