  1. Just pitch and catch on every need-to-have-it. You're not out of it, but you better find an answer in the next 20 minutes or you're toast and a lot of the benefit of the doubt provided to Moore over the last year evaporates.

  3. The bipolarity of replay review drives me absolutely crazy. Calling that a touchback is the natural consequence of every prior decision in instant replay. But this particular crew on this particular Saturday decided to draw the line short of calling that a touchback. Why? Vibes.
  4. "After further review, we now know what the call should be, but decided it should be upheld anyway."
  5. One quarter won. Feels like it will be hard to keep up, but I would have said the same thing last year. Going 0/2 in the red zone feels costly.
  6. I don't think they're designed. I think Underwood is feeling pressure (that may or may not actually exist) and he's too quick to try to make something happen.
  7. Superb job by the defense, notwithstanding getting gashed on the ground for what should have been a loss. No more stupid penalties either.
  8. Frustrating they aren't up 10 right now. Ohio State would be against the ropes.
  9. 5th and Goal from the 1 coming up. Have to imagine Day will go for it on 6th and Goal as well.
  10. Embarrassing defensive effort. Loss of three turns into first and goal and very likely 6 in a moment.
  11. 3s instead of 6s will cost them. They really need this to be a 10-0 game.
  12. At 7-5, the Lions are not waving the white flag on the season.
  13. I hate it here I want to go home.
  14. This is giving off these vibes. Vikings are 4-8 since this regular season celebration.
  15. It’s hard not to blame coaching to some extent. Obviously there are the offensive problems, but even that has to fall at the feet of the people who hired those people. With the amount of talent on this team, it’s inexcusable to be 7-5. It’s even worse to be 1-3 in the division. Bumps in the road are okay, and are going to happen. Sometimes you’ll lose games like yesterday when the officials decide to acknowledge the opponent’s timeouts a second early but not your own challenge a second late. NFL games are too competitive to lose as many as 11 points due to uncontrollable elements. But you can’t allow them to snowball. And it sure feels like they are, despite managing to not lose two in a row all this time.
  16. It helps when they’re going against a completely outmatched offensive line. The opening sequence was inexcusable. Who could have seen the Packers overmatching the interior coming??
  17. LaFluer went into this season knowing he needed to beat the Lions to win this division. And he did it. Campbell got outcoached 2/2 games this season. That’s not to say it’s over between them. LaFleur got outcoached 2/2 games last season. But things need to improve. We can’t let mediocre QB Jordan Love torch us every November, but that’s just a start. The hiring of Morton was bad. Can’t happen again. We need an OC that knows who this roster has and can make use of them: It’s not over yet. But this is shaping into the season of “what could have been”
  18. For me the season’s failures come down to the hiring of John Morton and company. 7-5 with this roster just isn’t good enough.
  19. This team deserves nothing they get from now on. The coaching staff deserves nothing, the offense deserves nothing, the defense somehow deserves less. Yet, they will make the playoffs and have the chance to break our hearts again.
  20. NFL officiating decided this game. Yet again. I hope we get the chance to go to Lambeau and ruin their postseason. Not that they deserve the chance, but I bet we are the last team they want to see
  21. Defense needs to prove me wrong. 31 points against this offense is pitiful.
  22. Jordan Love is not a good quarterback. Whats the excuse? It can’t be injuries. Everyone but Joseph is back. Just FOH.
