  1. If Gibbs is good for one fumble a season, I’ll take this over it happening in the NFC Championship Game.
  2. Next time the Bears touch the ball it could be 23-0
  3. Need cheapo’s to keep it close for people to still be watching Shaboozey’s show.
  4. In fairness, he’s a WR. Finding holes is probably not something he grew up doing, because he just was five yards ahead of everyone growing up.
  5. Won the toss and elected to receive. Half the board is happy.
  6. Looking around the shoulder to shoulder crowd 15 minutes pregame, what a difference three years makes.
  7. From Justin Rogers: “FWIW, only text back I got on Moseley was deferring to Campbell addressing it postgame. We'll see if anyone else comes through with more information, and if they do, I'll share it here.”
  8. Yeah not great news for a career when someone puts up a performance like Vildor’s last week and the response is to bench YOU, who sat on the bench for it.
  9. The streak ends today!! Lions 31 Bears 7
  10. Good to see Terrion Arnold cleared though. If we play Vildor again, they're going to try to pick on him again, but I'm glad at least one of our starting corners is good to go. I'm hoping Moseley can take some snaps from Vildor in replacing CDIII. He couldn't possibly be worse.
  11. Get Up stole my clip art!! (that I found on Google like three years ago and have put into the Thanksgiving GDT ever since)
  12. I loved Dan Campbell from the very beginning. I wasn't positive it would work. It's one thing to be a leader of men, it's another to get the right guys around you that will listen, heed, and walk the walk. That introductory press conference, I remember watching and thinking "this dude is awesome!!" He spoke directly to all of us. He knew his audience, and it wasn't the talking heads on ESPN who made fun of it. I thought that if he got the right guys from Holmes, that this could turn into something special. My faith wasn't unwavering though. The closest I came to not believing was when they hit 1-6 in 2022, fresh off five straight losses where they lost 28-24, 48-45, 29-0, 24-6, and 31-27. I thought they needed to change something and that it might need to be Aaron Glenn who went. They canned Aubrey Pleasant instead and the rest is history still in progress. As long as I'm flaunting my own predictive success though.... In August 2022, fresh off the 3-13-1 season, I bought these AirPods, which I still have. Which is impressive in two regards: (1) that I have a working pair of AirPods that I haven't lost or broken after more than two years... And (2) that I believed, dammit!! Well, believed enough to give myself two shots at being right (I would have claimed credit last year and will definitely claim this year if the impossible becomes reality).
  13. They’re trying to silence the ROAR, they don’t know who they messing with 😤😤😤
  14. Jones could sign a small money deal now with a handful of teams, or hold out and hope a contender’s QB gets hurt. His name has probably come up in the worst case scenario contingency planning if Goff gets hurt.
  15. James Houston was released. He’ll be a fun trivia answer in 20 years.
  16. I think Vegas is pretty frustrated with the Lions. They’re routinely getting 80-90% of bets and are still 9-2 ATS. They're routinely blowing teams out in a league where half of all games are decided by 8 or less points. Despite the spread being >10 for a divisional Thanksgiving game against a decent Bears team, 77% of money is going to the Lions. Spreads will keep going up until the Lions can’t cover them.
  17. I still think that if the police handled things differently by detaining him and seizing the gun, this statement reads differently. I’m not sure how they could have charged him after the police let their sole piece of evidence drive away with the guy they’re now trying to charge.
  18. To be honest, with something like this, the officials would have probably tried to prevent it from becoming an issue by making sure Campbell knew.
  19. This is interesting, but also dumb. Why is an injury timeout insufficient notice but a team timeout enough? Everyone knew Decker was going out, no one was going to be confused by Skip at LT.
  20. I don’t think there’s anyway this game wasn’t circled after last year’s letdown. Last year’s Turkey Day crowd was electric. They were ready to explode. It was playoff-esque. And then Jordan Love popped that balloon. I think they’ll be given their party this year.
