I don't know if this would be a good or bad thing, but if we put in billions of dollars to help secure Egypt's border, the republic party would probably have a meltdown. I genuinely love immigrants and have no idea why we would think its a good idea to keep them out. These people persevere like Americans wish they could. I work with immigrants that do extremely high quality work and did it after overcoming all of the obstacles that come with migrating. It's absolutely amazing and incredible to me. Are you able to pull the hard drive and put it in another computer and see if you can still see the files? A power surge may have spared the hard drive, I've also had surges that blasted my modem (it was a while ago) and my power supply but the hard drive was still ok.

I use Icedrive and I like it. I can mount it as a drive in windows explorer (I:) and copy things over. I use xcopy bat files a lot to make backups and mounting the drive in this manner helps with things like that

I was listening to the audio podcast version of Meet the Press today, and noted something quite.... well They have Rep Jim Clyburn as a guest. She asks him all sorts of questions, whatever pretty non-memorable interview. The last question Kirsten Walker asked Jim Clyburn was: "You know it's Easter, what is your message about bipartisanship? Is it possible...? " Next interview, Rep Don Bacon. I've heard this guy on C-SPAN dozens of times, I know him by his voice. He's actually one of the more sane ones I hear come on C-SPAN. Anyways.... not a single question to him about bipartisanship. Why? Oh it's because the media expects the Democrats to be bipartisan and expects the Republicans to not be, and that helps the Republicans.
