  1. Covid is "a godsend" to Republicans according to Republicans
  2. Well.... I can't argue everything you guys are saying here about the corruption and inequities, that's all true... but I love the olympics and really would miss them. I suspect I'm a rarity these days. I try to watch as much of it as I can when they're happening. Last night on snowboarding this dude ripped a run that the commentators were saying was literally the most difficult run anyone has ever pulled off in competition before, and the judges gave him 2nd place. Commercial, they come back, still talking about it, like the commentators are completely outraged and think it could be a mistake.... nope.... Anyways I'm not skilled enough to know whether the commentators were right but just last night you could make the case the judges screwed someone. I generally do think judges in sports suck but I still like the sports themselves.
  3. I've spent a number of the past few years trying to avoid listening to 90s tunes, it's my era and I oversaturated it. I saw The Eric Alper tweet something like "Wanna feel good? Listen to one of your favorite records from when you were a teenager". So I am. Sonic Youth - Daydream Nation these guys are about as much of an acquired taste as you can get honestly but if you like that taste, they're really awesome.
  4. honestly it was weak bro
  5. lmao that's incredible
  6. congrats to the USA on defeating COVID again
  7. cool story
  8. so the openstuff up dudes are causing stuff to be closed. Apparently it isn't tyranny when they do it
  9. cool story
  10. my 2017 has 23k miles. LOL.
  11. It's too bad there wasn't an impeachment hoax in Obama's 1st term b/c if that happens you get to be president again
  12. My $.02 is that rights don't depend on polling
  13. This isn't complaining about lines. It's discussing undue burdens placed upon one for fulfilling their constitutional rights (and perhaps responsibilities).
  14. I'd also wonder what constitutes "easy". In 2016 I waited for well over an hour to vote in person, is that easy? Now we have no excuse absentee voting but that's only trustable as long as the republicans aren't running the show. For 2020 I dropped my vote in a dropbox, that was definitely easy. I actually plan to go back to voting in person because the republicans aren't trustworthy and our system, as far as I can tell, doesn't show that your ballot was accepted, ie passed "signature certification" or whatever they call it.
  15. and you didn't argue it was easy for others to vote
  16. sorry, I will amend - you called out citing him, and then called out him.
  17. I interpreted it that way because you explicitly called out CITING him, not him. I figured I cited him b/c I posted his tweet, thus you called out what I did.
  18. Cool but I don't need stern to tell me that - everything I said was pretty obvious before his tweet was ever sent. In fact, what I said is pretty obvious to almost every piece of legislation the Democrats pass for the next couple few decades, your opinions notwithstanding. Nice ad-hom though, did we defund the ad-hom police officer that was here for a week or so? Or is ad-hom 911 a joke?
  19. Lol he tried to steal THE map
  20. Robert's is a hater of the VRA as we already know, but he joined the libs on this one. They're too far right for even him on VRA. It's a goner. This is the fate of whatever would have come out of the Senate if the could actually legislate there.
  21. Maybe the Facebooks bias toward the left is that he kissed the left asscheek Instead of the right. Watch out for daiper rash zuck
