  1. So can old broads. *ducks*
  2. I don’t remember much about it. I remember the cheesy “swing away” or whatever but it’s mostly faded from memory.
  3. Its an absolutely fantastic show. Bateman is fantastic in it.
  4. I'm not going to admit that I have a clown horn on my bike and I use it the second time around on the middle-aged-and-annoyed women the second time I pass them.
  5. Such a funny movie. Heck, the entire "series" is such a great running gag.
  6. We have a trail around a lake near our house and I use it often. I get many dirty looks and scowls from aimless walkers (usually middle-aged women) who suddenly have to move when I say "on your left". Sorry to have ruined your endless gabbing and middle-of-the-trail meandering, lady.
  7. I would work on strumming technique before I would concern myself with bpm. Learn how to strum, double pick, down pick, up pick and once you have the technique down, turn on the metronome. YMMV
  8. Can you play those chords and create your own strumming pattern?
  9. Actually, funny you'd say that, I do have anecdotal experience. A coworker shared a story of a friend of his who tried to euthanize his dog by leaving it in a running car located in a closed garage. The car didn't produce enough carbon monoxide and he went out later and found the dog sitting there wagging his tail. The cheap SOB had to spend the money at the vet after all.
  10. I am Jack's grumpy side.
  11. Today the role of Yoda will be played by.....me 😉
  12. And with modern emissions, an idling vehicle is hardly a concern for the environment. Heck, you could sit in a closed garage with your vehicle idling and not suffer any ill effects from carbon monoxide. Older vehicles not so much though.
  13. Also the picking technique of these guys is amazing. Not a fan of the vocals but the guitar work is something special. One guy is concentrating as if his life depends on it. The other guy is wondering if he paid too much for that muffler.
  14. Okay @Shades of Deivi Cruz , what is the latest?
  15. Maybe they are waiting for someone and, while listening to the radio, don't want to have to hit the accessory button every two minutes when it automatically shuts off. Maybe they have allergies and don't want too much exposure to the elements. I'd wager they probably have a pet peeve of people who can't mind their own freaking business.
  16. The version of tax man with Cheap Trick on Daryl's House is an absolute gem.
  17. I went to see Megadeth and Lamb of God last Friday and it was so amazing to be back at a concert. There was a real energy and the bands did not disappoint. They thanked the crowd several times and expressed their gratitude at being able to do concerts again. If you ever get a chance to do an outdoor concert at Soaring Eagle, jump on it. The sound was absolutely amazing.
  18. I remember that oh too well. Jr was "must see" in his prime.
  19. I'd heard "letters to knees" was the standard. This could certainly be preprogrammed in when the lineups were submitted and then updated in real time with a pinch hitter because they'd know the measurements of every roster member in advance. Plus it would create jobs to update the software and input any pinch hitter info prior to the AB. The umpire would still be present to call foul/fair and close plays at the plate.
  20. I'm surprised you couldn't see it before. It must have been a staff perk. Much like the motown yacht.
  21. Well sleeping with the entire football team would be a good start.
